It's very complex, and one of the main reasons for that is the fact that it's a mixture of so many essential oils but there isn't a single one that overpowers the others; they're all pretty equally noticeable. One of the first things you pick up when smelling it is the warm and woodsy base notes of the "darker," warmer, earthier trees used in it, the sandalwood, spruce, and oud wood. Just as fragrant as this is the spicy and sweet palmarosa, which is a grass that smells kind of like vetiver, and the bitter, sweet, and floral lavender. I also really notice how well the earthiness of the patchouli helps emphasize the woods while complimenting the root and the flower. I think the only scent that's more subtle is the black pepper, but it's definitely still there. If I had to try and sum it up, I think I'd say: Base notes of dark, warm woods, complimented with earthy patchouli, mixed with spicy, bitter, and sweet top notes of palmarosa and lavender, and an underlying black pepper. I have a question, I’m 18 y/o trying to grow a beard. My cheeks, mustache, goatee, and under my mouth/ neck area are all growing good, but on the side of my mouth, where the mustache, goatee and cheek hair connect, there is not a lot of hair growth at all.
