Cap, the TOW missile was not designed to be fired while moving faster than 5 mph. Stationary position would increase your kill percentage greatly. Last thing, don’t fly the missile, crosshair on the target and the missle will do the rest.

I think the reason that this was a shitshow is because it was a free for all. If you had 2x MLRS and 2x SPG just sat back well out of reach from the T72's and ATGM's just bombarding the hilltop and the approaches to the hill, it would have made is extremely difficult for the enemy to navigate to the top. With very little stopping them, they just went wherever they felt like going and picked you off one by one. You needed a spotter for the artillery and the UH1 and Gazelles did nothing but dogfight with the KA50's.

Great game with lots of potential. This sort of content will help the combined arms aspect of DCS to get improved- I don’t think for example that it is VR capable at the moment. I think that this game would be better if players were not able to use free cameras to find enemy vehicles - it felt a little unfair when Cap did this.

We are in constant communication with the “NETMA” and our licensor “Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH” in order to bring you the most current version of the Eurofighter possible, without violating classified information. As you might already have guessed from the published pictures and our company’s German background, we will create a German version of the Eurofighter Typhoon to start out. This version will only make the introduction to DCS as we will continue to bring more and more nationalities and capabilities to you over time. Will the Eurofighter Typhoon include HMD, A/G, Iris-T, Meteor, Pirate, DVI? We are working hard to include all capabilities of all different Typhoon nations. However, please keep in mind that there is a limit to what we can display with only using publicly available data. IMO the IRIS-T, Meteor, AIM-132 and a lot of the air to ground missiles are insanely powerful. Not including the significantly higher performance and more advanced avionics over everything else in the sim and imo the F-15E will likely become the only advicary to the Eurofighter. If we get the British equipment this thing will be unrivalled.

Why are TOW equipped Humvee's facing T-90's or BMPs face to face? Why aren't the TOW's taking long-range shots on the enemy when they are slow and climbing the hill? Why aren't the MLRS and the Paladins not using Long Range indirect spotted by Huey's for area denial?

so i just got this game recommended to me since i play warthunder and some other games like it, game seems fun but also full with tactical nerds and people that want to play dead serious and will yell at you for not driving in formation and 1 km/h above the set traveling speed..... is this true and how ''casual'' is this game?

DCS has many different communities spanning from arcade like playing to hard core realism. It is more aircraft focused but combined arms is pretty good I have heard. To be able to play tanks you need to buy combined arms which is roughly 30 usd. After that you get ships, infantry, armour and artillery. If you came to dcs for just ground forces the community for that is pretty small so I would recommend sticking with war thunder for ground forces but if you want to learn every switch in a planes cockpit go with dcs

DCS is more aircraft oriented. If you want full battlefield milsim, Arma 3 generally does a better job (Tho flying in Arma is much less realistic). Both games have communities with less or more hardcore sim gamers. You can grab Arma 3 for $30, and it has 10 DLCs varying in price from $4 to $20. Tho it's often on steam sale, including right now! You can grab everything for 70% off on steam. DCS World is technically free, but for that you only get one map and 2 airplanes (The Su-25T and the TF-51D). Every plane needs to be purchased, costs range from $19 to over $60, and it has loads of campaigns and maps that needs to be purchased individually. Combined it has DLCs worth over $1050, which is absolute robbery, but can get away with because it practically has a monopoly on realistic combat plane sim. If you like flying to the point where you want to put in hundreds of hours to learn it in a hardcore realistic simulator, DCS is for you. Otherwise you can probably find more fun elsewhere.

You really need to move to arma or DCS depending on what you like more, helis and ground or some aircrafts. DCS "ate dog" at skies, so there are much well-worked and cheap planes, while arma does good at ground operations. Big plus is these simulators have way more healthy public and custom missions/online battles while BugTunder has more than halth useless idiots and random sessions so team work is excepted.

HAHAH so funny listening to you use Air Force terms while on the ground... Rifle, Shack, talley... HAHAHA. It is "on the way" and "target" when you hit. Direction, description, and range. Then you give the execution command and wait for the termination command. So the first shot would have gone: BMP, 2 o'clock (or whatever the direction to the target was i didnt catch it), 3000m. Then the gunner would reply with BMP, 2 o'clock. Then the commander would say FIRE. Then the gunner would say ON THE WAY. Then corrections are made; short, over, lost, left, right, or target. another command to FIRE is given and the gunner gives an ON THE WAY before firing the gun. Finally the commander will say cease-fire to end the engagement. Little more to it but thats it in a nutshell. Crew gunnery isnt as quick and easy as pilots have it. Edit: At least the crew member in the tank is saying the right things "Target! Cease fire."

Cap, I've been watching your videos for the better part of two years and, while I do love your work (not owning a decent enough setup to fly myself I watch instead ) I do really take issue with you using autistic as a derogatory term, being on the spectrum myself.
