Nice video! I've just ordered a quest 3 a couple days ago, and I have one question. Back when I got my quest 2 I bought some facepads from VR Cover, do you know/think if they'll fit with the quest 3 aswell?

I get terrible headaches at the back of my skull with the default strap the Q3 comes with. Im not sure if its my eyes causing my brain to hurt or the strap. I will have to get one of these I think.

I get that too, it’s the strap, not your eyes most likely. Or at least for me any good strap completey solved headaches.

This looks awesome. What are the key difference between a normal and halo strap? Also, would you recommend H4 Boost Halo Battery Strap over others atm for the Quest 3?

@@wiskin88 a normal one is an elite style strap that just has the side bits and top strap, while the Halo has the forehead cushion and is usually way more comfortable. I have pretty much all the Quest 3 headstraps on the market today and I love the H4 Boost the most right now.

Is there a way to change the top strap on the K4? I really hate how big and chunky it looks.

You can yes, but it’s super soft and comfy, even though it looks big ;)

It’s unfortunate they don’t have a Halo version without a built-in battery. I’d rather avoid the risk of an explosion-at least with a replaceable battery, you could toss it out the window if it starts melting!

I own Kiwi battery straps that are more than 4 years old and they are still in perfect condition. And with these new straps the amount of safety mechanisms for the battery is at the same level as a smartphone(and they actually use smartphone-grade batteries). But obviously it’s your call if you are still worried about it.

A battery headstrap. And you get what you pay for. Go get a knockoff from Amazon but don’t complain if it breaks or the battery takes ages to charge. Good tech costs money, even “just a headstrap.”
