Looking for the clearest possible lesson on how to do continuous rolls in the same direction... an ongoing 'circle' more or less in a flat plane but not finger rolls. One way seems to be get in reverse grip and get the momentum to take it over your thumb (going clockwise in the right hand for example), but I can't get the catch after that to keep it going. Any help would be much appreciated.

@randomseth41795 жыл бұрын
Nunchaku are meant to be used as a weapon, flashy moves are okay for shows as he does, however in combat it is not practical. Even in a show it is abuse of the weapon as it is intended to be used to strike, trap and disarm opponents. Doing moves as shown in the video causes unnecessary wear and tear where the two sticks are connected and causes them to loosen. If used for combat you must keep in mind that they are a weapon and should be wielded as such and without the added wear and tear from the fancy junk that can get you killed. They will last longer if used properly.

Hi Ken... Your video is really helpful and for me. I have a question for you. I have a nunchaku and it is not good in my hands. The chain length is pretty bigger than usual I guess. It is 9 inches long. And the sticks are 10 inches which is ok. Can you please mention in your videos about the standard length of the sticks and chain. Thank you for this. My master says there is no other form for nunchucks that we do, so I could go free style. Well he only taught us the basics: figure 8, triangle, underarm catch, around the neck, around the back, to the knee etc. so it's hard to look really cool with them so this will impress my fellow peers if my nunchucks are long enough to to the turn. Anyway thanks again!

One strike per opponent! No exception! If you have time to wrist roll! Your already dead! This is a weapon. Not a dance! Bruce always knew this and trained as such! Would often injure himself!
