Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FOR REAL - Michelangelo - Nunchucks (Nunchaku). I love the teenage mutant ninja turtles also called TMNT! Since I was a kid Michelangelo was my favorite of all the ninja turtles! I even made my own nunchucks and dressed as Michelangelo for halloween as a kid! Now, I practice and teach Chinese Kung Fu full time and the nunchucks, also called nunchaku, are one of my favorite Gong Fu weapons! Karate, Ninja, and Taekwondo also all use the Nunchucks! Get some Nunchakus and practice hard, often, and safely! www.JakeMace.com

At the time, I was depressed with health problems. I loved it, I went to my Doctor, he was concerned however he let me go with one condition I couldn't fight. My son was already three months when I started. My life changing I got my muscles tone, my balance e equilibrium was great than before. My Doctor said part of my prescription "Wah Lum Kung Fu and Tai Chi." I missed it. Thank you, Jake, for making my dream come true again. God Blessed you and your family.

When you hit an object like a head or shoulder or dummy your chucks reverse and it is easier to go with it and 'Double Tap' the target than take it back under your arm on the first blow. When i got A LITTLE older during H.S.,I used to go into China town and 42nd STREET with friends and watch movies all day in the theater's. I was in my south more year and met a Chinese kid from governor's island who's father was in the Coast Gaurd. He started teaching me something called, Spinning Horse. Never heard of it agaiin.

Showing my age, but when I was an early teen, I was super into the Kung Fu TV show with David Carradine. I also read a good book, Judo Boy, by Mike Ball, Jr. (Recently found it again and read it. Holds up pretty good). In college I spent a year studying American Karate System (AKS), but dropped out after the sensei changed locations and I got busy with work and classes. Then 20 years later my kids were taking Sanchin-Ryu, I had a career change that allowed more time, and I started to. Now I'm a black belt. And I play with Kung Fu (maybe a little more intense than play) and Tai Chi.

I was born in 1975. In that dates Bruce Lee films were famous and it began my interest in martial arts. Some years later i saw several films: karate kid (Ralph Machio), american ninja and other ninja films (Sho Kosugi and Michael Dudikof), the first JVD films, all the 3 dragons films (Jackie Chan, Samo Hung, Yuen Biao) and, of course, TMNT... i still have all that films (vhs, dvd and digital). Of course i loved dragon ball too... the first season, the learning times. I have been practicing martial arts since i was 5 years old (in south Spain there were only a few dojos) and until i was 26 years old (due to job and others i had to stop practicing). I began with Ninjitsu and karate (once i could met in person Masaaki Hatsumi sensei here, in Spain). Then i began practicing kick boxing, jkd and kali filipino. The i practiced muay thai but still training kali. At 26 i stopped. With 35 years old return to train but policial personal defense and aikido for 3 years and again i stopped. Now i want to return the clasics... Okinawa kobudo, kenjutsu and iaido... we'll see. I still have my nunchakus, japanese katana, sais, jo, tonfa, several shurikens, kali sticks... most of that weapons are forbiden now in Spain (but not when i was young).
