Fantastic design. I'm going to take inspiration and apply it to my 2003 Land Cruiser Prado 90 series here in England. Many thanks for the video.

I’m glad you were inspired by the simple design.

Looks like a great design. And this way you get to use your middle row seats if you ever need to. Fantastic work!
@CruisinMiles2 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Don’t want to lose the functionality of the middle row

SWEET. I'll be doing the same footprint shorter to get a kitchen in. On the list. Which as an 80 owner you know is long and never ending... Safe travels.

Ohhhh…. The list… lol. Safe travels to you as well. Would love to see how that turns out

@@CruisinMiles Me too! I work for Dometic and have access to all sorts of overlander product. I don't want the platform to be a hassle when in "daily driver mode" so we'll see how it all goes.

@@LostandFoundTravel Nice! Just pulled the trigger on a budget fridge/freezer… would not mind having a dometic at all though. I have some plans to upgrade this platform soon though.

Man I love this platform. I am thinking about buying one from Chris as well. I'm down in San Diego so he's local for me. The only thing stopping me is my wife wants to keep the third row seats for now.

Any chance you’d share the height for us who live far away from CA?

Of course. I had mentioned it in the video, but yes, the overall height of the platform is 12.25” inches

What wood did you use and what size of wood did you use? Thanks. Learned alot!

I couldn’t tell you what kind of wood and what size… it’s a secret. Just kidding. I don’t know that stuff lol. I’ll have to contact the builder and find out for you. I’ll get back to you.
