⁠@@StefanMalloch thank you for responding, I called SONY and they said it was replaced with a two-year warranty, now I’m seeing that the $400 discount is back (until June 9) at Best Buy which I was hoping to get it from them so I can purchase the 4 year protection plan. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and advice.

I have a question. Why do u think my 70200gm mk1 has trouble auto focusing when it gets cold? When it is 50degF or warmer, it performs stellar. I love my gmaster but it breaks my heart at cooler temps.

Frustrating. That's not that cold so interesting to see you having those issues.. Have you asked Sony why that might be?

@@StefanMalloch I have and they have no answer. My one choice to confirm these crazy pixies is to pay Precision Camera $600 to tell me what is wrong, but I don't think I will do that. I am better off putting $600 towards a new 70200gmmk2. Sucks cuz the glass is amazing at warm temps. I bet it is those clunky XD motors on the front element that get cold and lethargic.
