So, I used a different type of narration (in the build portion) in this one. Audio quality issues aside, what are your thoughts on it?

sounded great! loved the video.

Seems good, I like the cleaned up detail, and humor that comes from post audio. Yeah, that first audio almost made me close the video, it could have used the poat narration as well. Super job overall though, thanks for sharing.

AWESOME WIN ON THAT FITZ! Was cool meeting you at the Richardson Swap Meet a little while ago with Lee. You guys are very cool! 👍🏻💯

I liked the review style as well as the demo. Really looks like a nice flyer. You always have loved the "problem solving" part of the hobby anyway when you build. Great solutions, by the way.

What a beauty of a plane. I really like the scheme it came with, and that engine!

Good job in the build and flying. You did well with having a dead stick landing 👌

Just your voice in German was a bit annoying. I changed it to your original one 😆
@HobbyViewАй бұрын
@@ficosk8 , wait, what? You can translate my voice into German? Stimmt das?
@ficosk8Ай бұрын
@ ja das stimmt!! The video even started on German without I changed anything 🤣 I think it’s a new feature 👌🏼 now you can speak Japanese too probably 🤣

Very nice build. Anything Bearcat getting an automatic like.😁 Love your builds. Just an building observation: Your prop TE to cowl LE has what I would call quite a bit of space. Mounting the ignition system behind the firewall (avoiding excessive direct heat). Then opening the firewall to allow the use of shorter standoffs, reducing the fore mentioned gap and reducing some balancing weight by bringing that beautiful (but heavy) radial engine closer to the CG.🙂
@HobbyViewАй бұрын
@icin4d , good eye. It's that way because of the rear-facing carb. Any furthor back and the venturi will be past the firewall into the fuse interior. I may experiment doing that later, when I do some cooling mods.

At the Jetero RC Warbird Ralley in Oct my wife won the Seagull Models/Legend Hobby 87" Corsair. She is letting me build it. I got the gear and servos. Deciding on the engine. Saito 3 cyl 90 would be cool, but they seem to have issues.
@flymachineАй бұрын
Oh dear, I never cut a metal exhaust on the engine - especially inverted like that you’re sending metal dust and shards into the exhaust ports! Great build and a beauty of a cat. There are some gorgeous 4 blade props that would run well on that engine and really finish her off. Paint those baffles black please! Nicely done. Check out Hecht speed on YY who is an expert on the Bear.

Nice dead stick save, you were pretty low and still pull it out. Do you have an all-up weight for the plane? I am considering this one.
@brianscutt6298Ай бұрын
Awesome warbird! I was wondering if they have a scale cockpit and some guns for the wing's that they would sell as an upgrade?? Thanks!

Can you make the exhaust exit thru the bottom? The pilot doesn't want to breath in the fumes and the exhaust crud from blocking his canopy view.

I'm just getting into the Large ARF Gas. I've purchased a Dancing Wing Albatros D.V It calls for a 20cc engine. I have a 30cc. What are your thoughts on using a larger engine? The weights about the same. Thanks!
@HobbyViewАй бұрын
Should be fine. Able to swing a larger, more scale prop at a slower speed. should sound good. Likely less nose weight needed as well.
