If you do this again, when you do the initial ink maybe try getting some alcohol and dripping it over the ink, it will make the ink spread. I do love the sides of the second one!! 😊

That's a great idea, I'll have to try that next time - thank you : )

I was just coming here to say this! I've typically seen alcohol inks used in card making, and the artists often spray their alcohol inks with more alcohol to make them spread out. They also use plastic drinking straws to kind of help direct the flow of the ink after it's been sprayed with alcohol :)

This is one of the best resin art videos I have watched. I do like the boxes and the fact that they stack. Now I also know what a dirty pour is. Thanks for uploading 👍🏻

I've had this mold on my wishlist for a while. I originally found it on Amazon, so it is available there. Glad to see someone use it finally. I had the same idea of using another mold as a handle for the flat top. I have to say that flat top and the first tier you made with the leafing were my favorite. ❤
@looseskullsscrafts9 ай бұрын
Really?? I was surprised I hadn’t seen it on Amazon myself, I really had only seen it on Temu and I think that was only because Temu’s algorithm was pushing storage mould listings at me lol

I agree with you. That last tier is my favourite as well. If you decide to put a handle on the lid, maybe just add to the centre and use resin instead of drilling. That way you don’t damage the lid

I thought of using uv resin to glue it but I haven’t had the best luck with uv through/around objects as a glue. I want to try a different brand tho because I know a lot of ppl do use it.

New subscriber here from across the channel in Ireland. Love these storage trays. I've just popped the mold into my temu basket. My daughter and myself are currently gone nuts with resincrete and a big 3kg bag of aqua cast en route at the moment. I'm hoping she'll start making and selling to help with her college expenses. We've made several trinket trays and coasters and loving it. It's a real learning curve but great fun.
@looseskullsscrafts9 ай бұрын
I hope she can do, resincrete looks beautiful. Good luck to your daughter ✨ I hope you both have fun with it!

I love that you used different techniques for each layer, though I am particularly drawn to the 1st and second layers! I've had that mold for months, always intending to make it, but then Octoberween (Halloween and Harvest) came, then Christmas... I was so tired at the end I just didn't have the energy to do much!

So weird😮 I placed an order only hours ago for 2 different styles of stackable tier resin moulds! This has me so excited to get mine & start playing with zillions of techniques/ideas!🎉 Thought u were funny by saying “I may even make a stack as high as myself Cz I can”! That was my thought process when I ordered two designs but both of a rounded nature, wonder if I can stack n stack n mix n match n stack them more!
@looseskullsscrafts9 ай бұрын
Ooh have fun! I hope you can mix and match : )

I could try that, I think one of the entire side lengths is slightly out.
