Totally agree, i've got one with a works headset, 160 fork and push coil, unreal bike, i owned it since 2021 when it came out and every single time i ride it it puts a big smile on my face, unreal!

I've owned 2 Evils, a Calling and a Wreckoning V2. That Wreckoning with a coil was amazing going up and down. I've owned a lot of different brand bikes and I would say Canfield and Evils suspension felt the best to me. I would prefer a longer chainstay on the Evil but otherwise amazing. My trailbike now is a Cannondale Habit LT 2 which I picked up at a great price. For me, they really nailed the geometry so looking forward to seeing the review on the LT1. Really enjoying the videos and the direction the channel is going. Great job!

Nice review. The offering hovers over chunk. When I had the Wreckoning at a bike park, I felt like it let me go so fast so comfortably that I’d end up in a hospital if I crashed. Super confidence inspiring.

I’ve owned this bike before and it is crazy fun. I sold it and now I’m rocking the Sb140 in this test shoot out. All of these bikes have gotten so good lately. I’m noticing much smaller differences going from model to model. Great review man. NOTE: I think Mo made that intro so he could show off his raptor that Hannah said he wasn’t going to get LOL 😂😂

I have owned the Offering V2, Ripmo V2 and Yeti SB 140. The Offering is superior to the Ripmo in all respects, except climbing and, even then, it is close. The Offering tips downhills. The Yeti and Offering are tops. With Evil’s sales right now, if you got the money, buy one! Mo you nailed the Offering review!
@episodesglowАй бұрын
Fwiw another youtuber hinted at a new Offering, doing what Mo says to make the xlow the new low would be my ideal since I ride a bike with a higher bb than the offering in low or xlow and still get pedal strikes though this is new England with tons of large rocks

Delta is still the most unique and best feeling trail suspension kinematics on the market. Makes sense why the stumpjumper 15 is trying to replicate the same leverage curve

V1 Wrecker with a custom tuned Push Eleven6 shock, still the best rear suspension I’ve ever experienced. Always thought pedaling performance and suspension performance through chunk were on opposite ends of a scale until I owned that combo.

The speed and precision that you displayed on these reviews is incredible. Plus the fact that you’re pinning it faster that 90% of the riders I see on those trails with aggressive enduro eMTBs in full face and full body gear.

@ you have skills bro! Plus it’s really nice to see how fast you shred my local trails. Trail knowledge helps out a lot but it’s so true when you are used to a XC or a Hardtail then being able to open-up on a proper trail bike it makes a difference.

Love my 160/150 marin alpine trail XR and i tried some trail wheels and lighter tires on it but it didn’t feel right- it wants double downs and fat strong wheels..now im thinking about other trail bikes, loved the wreckoning my buddies have.. this offering gets me excited 🎉

@@JJ_MTB_15 and what's pour préférence between following and offering?
@JJ_MTB_15Ай бұрын
@@guipol112 Offering does everything the following does better
@kevinclark9176Ай бұрын
I have a Following MB and while it does some things good, I have not gotten it to not feel like it hangs up on square edges, and that's with a custom coil. The Offering LS intrigues me though. Extra 20mm (or 25mm with Cascade link) travel, angleset and 160 fork, if it can handle the chunk better but still be fun, could be a killer bike.

When will the review of the wreckoning be released?
@JCaleb37182 ай бұрын
Thanks for yet another great review. I really would love to demo one of these. Given the common Dave Weagle ancestry, how would you compare the efficiency and feel of this suspension to the DW-link? For climbing, just as good? Better?
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
Dave Weagle is awesome!!! DW-Link feels a little better in terms of pedaling, especially out of the saddle sprints! Tech climbs both feel very similar!
@kevinclark9176Ай бұрын
I have a Following MB (V2) and if it didn't feel like it hangs up on the square edges I'd love it. Replacing with a Banshee Phantom for now, hopefully that fixes that issue. But the Offering is a bike that really intrigues me as a bigger second bike. If it handles chunk like you say, and of course has that Evil fun and pedalability, I'm tempted. Value is just not good on them, especially when you're picky. I do love how well the Following can handle hard hits despite it's travel. Feels more burly than the 120mm says it should.
@bearjewmtb4827Ай бұрын
Evil following vs offering? I’m trying to decide between the 2. I know local trail wise the following is probably the right option. But also at 6’2” and like 210lbs I’m wondering if I’d benefit from the extra bit of travel. Any thoughts considering your similar in height at least?
@trentvlak2 ай бұрын
The leverage curve has steep progression before the sag point so you need less spring rate to get to sag. This allows forces to move the suspension much easier so it feels supple. Then it's progressive to the end for good mid and end stroke support. High antisquat so it rockets forward. One thing I'd like to see on it is an adjust able cs length, which wouldn't be too hard to implement. Shame about the superboost.
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
Suspension feels so good! Adjustable chain stays are awesome!
@kevinclark9176Ай бұрын
Evil's actually tend to need higher spring rates to hit sag.

When you pay experts (Dave Weagle) what they’re worth you get an incredible product. So many generic horste link copy cat boring designs. Descend well, but don’t have that magic carpet feel.

Super slack head angles are too single purpose. You should have to have a precision handling bike and one where you have to have a certain degree of skill to ride some of the stuff you are riding. 65.5 and 66 are the sweet spot for head angle! Keep bikes agile, don't make them sleds that are only good at plowing through stuff.
@r.handerlie96072 ай бұрын
Agree, even Transition realized this, the old Sentinel felt like a chopper and was a real chore to turn. The newer one steepened the HTA.
@mitchsargent5543Ай бұрын
I have this with a 150 fork and went 1 degree slacker than stock, which is perfect for the single track around me (Austin). Just ordered a 160 fork, and will probably got back to stock with that. This bike just boggles my mind with how amazing it is!
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
Also depends on where you are riding! Steep head angles definitely have their place!!
@ShadLifeАй бұрын
@moandhannahtravel That's why I say they are single purpose. Get an Enduro or DH bike then, not a trail bike. A trail bike like the ones being tested are for all around riding, not just downhill. Also, 65.5 and 66 degree headangles are not steep at all!
