The more I watch your videos, the more I think my transplant was done by unqualified technicians. I’m 14 months post FUE and they are still preaching I will see density later on. My face swelled up for well over a month to the point where I had black eyes, and I definitely did not recover nearly as quickly as most patients I’ve seen on these videos. I also paid 10,000 for 2,000 grafts, and was told retention would be around 90-95%. I would say it’s more like 60-70% after the 14 months based on my results, and my front hairline is very sparse still, so I have to wear my hair down over my forehead. If anyone is contemplating having fue, I would make sure there is a certified cosmetic surgeon involved. The “technicians” will just take your money and don’t seem to care if you’re happy with the results based on my experience.

The difficult thing is that although you can do this or that on certain days after the procedure, what you have to remember is that it is your own hair being transplanted from the back to the front of your head and you really don't get a lot of second chances if you mess it up unless you have a ton of money to redo it, but those follicles are your follicles and any that you lose, that's it for them. You only have a finite number of donor follicles to use, so it's best to play it cautiously and wait out the healing process.

Strangely enough, there were a few hairs in the first row that did not fall out and just started to grow. I was not supposed to do sports until 6 weeks at the earliest, which was terrible for me. After the first 6 months, only a few of the new hairs grew. Then it came so little by little. Interestingly, even after one and a half years, it still grew a little more. According to my clinic, after 12 months all the hair should have grown out. Although I was only transplanted into the receding hairline, I was pretty bald at the back of my head for about two years after the surgery. Grafts can only survive outside the body for a few hours. So if you would do 5000 grafts it would take so long to implant them that a lot of them will die before they even end up in your head.

I lost most of my eye brow hair a couple of years ago, just fell out and never came back. Most people never even noticed as I have blonde hair & they weren’t particularly visible even when i did have them.

Hi there Dr gary linkov have you ever advised against getting a hair transplant at your clinic? And if so why would be the reason. I went to a clinic in Ireland and they advised against me to for a transplant because he felt my donor area wasn't dense enough would this be rare??

The swelling of the forehead looks unusual......perhaps this is more prevalent with FUE, versus the old FUT method. Swelling might normally be expected in the back, not front, at least with FUT.
@chrismiddleton40622 жыл бұрын
The band is to huge the crease of the swelling I would imagine. To stop swelling from dropping down the brow would have to be as aggressive as close to a tourniquet

head bandage is completely a bad idea. And getting swallowed on the forehead is mostly because of it. I have also done the hair transplant from Turkey and the only thing i would suggest is that dont use your mobile too much and keep your head down because it will make your head and swallowed. I kept my face straight and if i had to use the computer i fixed the height of the table so i dont look down this not only make you headache looking down also it will make your head look swallowed.

Also you talk about using some hair products like Minoxidil after the transplant is this necessary? I heard it's not good for your libido is this temporary or it lasts as long as you keep taking the medication? Also I take testosterone and a couple of peptides would this also affect the hair transplant
