The more I watch your videos, the more I think my transplant was done by unqualified technicians. I’m 14 months post FUE and they are still preaching I will see density later on. My face swelled up for well over a month to the point where I had black eyes, and I definitely did not recover nearly as quickly as most patients I’ve seen on these videos. I also paid 10,000 for 2,000 grafts, and was told retention would be around 90-95%. I would say it’s more like 60-70% after the 14 months based on my results, and my front hairline is very sparse still, so I have to wear my hair down over my forehead. If anyone is contemplating having fue, I would make sure there is a certified cosmetic surgeon involved. The “technicians” will just take your money and don’t seem to care if you’re happy with the results based on my experience.

The difficult thing is that although you can do this or that on certain days after the procedure, what you have to remember is that it is your own hair being transplanted from the back to the front of your head and you really don't get a lot of second chances if you mess it up unless you have a ton of money to redo it, but those follicles are your follicles and any that you lose, that's it for them. You only have a finite number of donor follicles to use, so it's best to play it cautiously and wait out the healing process.

I also had a bandage on the back of my head, which I had to take off in the evening after the operation. I was given a medical sheet for my pillow, but I was allowed to sleep lying down with a neck support so that I could not turn my head. The transplanted hairs fell out after about two to three weeks. Strangely enough, there were a few hairs in the first row that did not fall out and just started to grow. I was not supposed to do sports until 6 weeks at the earliest, which was terrible for me. After the first 6 months, only a few of the new hairs grew. Then it came so little by little. Interestingly, even after one and a half years, it still grew a little more. According to my clinic, after 12 months all the hair should have grown out. Although I was only transplanted into the receding hairline, I was pretty bald at the back of my head for about two years after the surgery. Little by little, it has become a little thicker again, probably because I have started again with Finasterid.

Doctor, is it possible to have a dhi hair transplant (2000 grafts to lower hairline only) 12 days post deep plain face lift? And if you don't suggest this, then what would be the reason why? Could slight inflammation remaining in face cause the transplant to fail and how likely is this to happen? Thank you kindly.

This has to be hands down the most incredible hair transplant transformation I’ve ever seen. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone get something that looks this good. It appears to be extremely dense and full. Absolutely incredible what science and medicine is capable of doing.

Hello dr. Linkov. Thank you for you videos! I had a beard transplant almost a year ago, but the shape of the beard wasn't done as we discussed. They promised to do a correction. Is it possible to transfer hair from not wanted parts of the beard? Not a very big amount. (I'm a man, just writing from my wife's account:) Thank you very much

The swelling of the forehead looks unusual......perhaps this is more prevalent with FUE, versus the old FUT method. Swelling might normally be expected in the back, not front, at least with FUT.

I lost most of my eye brow hair a couple of years ago, just fell out and never came back. Most people never even noticed as I have blonde hair & they weren’t particularly visible even when i did have them.

12:27 : having mentioned the 6 day and 3 week waiting periods for haircuts at the donor or recipient areas respectively, would that mean that it would be safe and permissible for someone to, in essence, skip the ‘ugly duckling’ phase by just getting their hair cut as they so wish as the months progress?

They didn't use baby hairs at the hairline which makes it obvious that he has had a hair transplant but besides that it's good that he regained confidence

My appointment is set this month April 2023 - this is my very first appointment coming up where we go over everything. I imagine the actual transplant appointment will be after. Hoping I get these results. My hair is really thick in areas it grows. Just gotta fix the front.

head bandage is completely a bad idea. And getting swallowed on the forehead is mostly because of it. I have also done the hair transplant from Turkey and the only thing i would suggest is that dont use your mobile too much and keep your head down because it will make your head and swallowed. I kept my face straight and if i had to use the computer i fixed the height of the table so i dont look down this not only make you headache looking down also it will make your head look swallowed.
