In my opinion the only thing that made dark revival less scary is that after a certain point in the game (which is pretty early) you constantly have a means to defend yourself whereas in BATIM there are more moments when you don’t have a weapon than when you do which makes most encounters so much scarier because the only thing you can do is either run or hide. The cherry on top is that in dark revival there are only a few enemy’s which pose a real threat unlike in BATIM where literally anywhere you go there is a big threat who is stronger than you.

In my opinion the moments in BATIM with no weapon just make the game drag on. Like, I'm sorry, but I don't think watching a demon made from ink walk past the closet you're in for 17 years is the most engaging gameplay. I love BATIM, but the aspects where you NEED to hide are just boring to me. I love the fact that the only time you actually need to hide in BATDR is when Ink Bendy is around. (if we ignore the hiding tutorial Piper) It just makes him such an imposing threat.

Shipahoy Wilson and Bertrum Piedmont has to be the two most epic boss fights in the bendy franchise, but I still prefer Bertrum cuz of his epic boss theme and also for nostalgia (cuz I used to watch batim when I was younger). Good times...... Edit: Tbh I actually liked the boss fights more in batim cuz the bosses were actually more challenging and the ost also sound better but still I find batdr also a great game, the graphics the animation the voice acting were much better in batdr. A random theory that seems a bit interesting for me: when bertrum is destroyed. They replaced it with a new one and rebuild it as an endless loop. Making it replacing bertrum heads forever. In the batdr u see a Bertrum head from a secret room. That was one of those heads. Theres probably lots more out of ur view point (glitching ur way to see it is not a great idea. Bc u wont see it anyways)

His head is found in the Keeper's prison where they keep people they see as threats to the cycle, and it's used by Audrey at the end to restart the Cycle. Norman's balls were so huge that the Keepers decided he was to risky to keep alive. Hell, seeing as he was the only person to ever square up with Bendy, he was probably also the only person to throw hands with a Keeper

The altered Butcher Gang and Slicer - mostly Slicer - are a huge disappointment. I mean, okay they jump out from lockers occasionally on purpose, but other than that, it makes no sense not to beat 'em. Especially Slicer, holy cow, she's such a so unnecessary addition to the gang. All she does is come out nowhere, run into you and... that's it. Despite this, I loved Bendy and the Dark Revival, holy shit how that one turned out good!

The End reel is the same reel that appears at the end of BATIM Chapter 5. The function of that is that, when it's played to the Ink Demon, the cycle is reset. Wilson didn't created The End. The thing that Wilson did was trap the Ink Demon in the small Bendy

To me BATDR was more like an Adventure and puzzle game. To me it was not realy scary but sometimes hard to come through puzzles (like the one Alice Angel had). I dont have this feeling in BATIM no matter how much I play it, Chapter 3 on the hand always have the random encounters from the Ink demon which makes it realy scary. Thats why im kinda disapointed from the Gameplay of BATDR but surprised about the story because Joey finaly explained what happened, this makes it kinda has a 'wow effect' to me. All tho its a pretty short game to me
