It’s so funny how various countries and cultures do things so differently though isn’t it? Now myself being an American all 35+ years of my life, I’ve never, ever known our students to clap for any reason during class often if at all nor was I aware that it was specifically an “American” thing to do but I guess this is the internet after all.
