I got my pixie/pompedour hair style re-cut in November 15th, 2019 and now it is February 23rd, 2020! I have grown my hair out again for 3 months. I am honestly letting it grow all the way out again back to 22” inches again. My hair is naturally thin & curly so i have really smooth wringlets when it gets longer. So i’m super excited to see the hair growth progress in 6 months time! I am currently working on taking progress photos every month or every other week and every month! So like, i’ll take a photo at the beginning of March & at the end of March & then the beginning of April and the end of April etc. and i’ll be taking a lot of photos until my hair all grows out or until i get a short bob! My hair was like Ghoopers, after I turned 27 I got it cut. Curls never really came back. Four years later and my hair still doesn't curl the same way. A lot of people don't take a grown man seriously just because he has long hair, it's even worse with curly hair. I sport side-cuts because it's practical and long hair on top. "man bun" is still the clingiest word in the world, doesn't matter what some individuals think of the hair style.

You have to tune out all the noise and let people know to back the fuck off. You’re your own man and will do what he pleases. Fuck everyone who wants to judge you. Do it while you’re young, because when you get around 3 you may not be able to grow your hair. You may be going bald or grey and will look back and regret not ever growing your hair out. As a man i can tell you, i never understood why other men are shy or embarrassed about growing their hair out. i've been letting mine grow without a single trim. the only time i trimmed a inch or so off is when the ends begin to split and die from being in the desert...stupid amounts of heat. My hair as of now, is brunette about 23-24in so about the center of my back CURLY i have curling iron type curls and i was told by my teachers and friends during high school "That's not your real hair look at how the curls are they spring back" Overall, my hair is 23-24in in length whilst its curled, if i were to straight it i'd imagine it'd touch my bum if not further it's rather thick meaning a Bun is pretty much my only hairstyle if i care for it. Considering my hair is Curly, well curly hair naturally has these awkward little frizzies and loose hair you have to buy certain shampoo or hair oils to keep them all fit and well off. but i love my hair as of now. If you have thick hair in my experience avoid hair brushes and go for soft ended ones, i was using a hard brush and noticed towards my bangs the brush actually shortened and pull some of it down because the hard ones were causing it too knot (Already a issue considering its thick) But if your a man and your debating on growing your hair out, your beard out anything. LET IT GROWWW don't listen to anyone. Grow it out and see how you like it.
