I know this post is a year later, but did you watch Danielson in the pre season? He played really well in those exhibition games. I think he put up like 5 or 6 points. I think this dude is going to be a top 6 forward. He has a solid two way game. He also has size, he's 6'2 I believe.

Is anyone else excited to seeing young players being drafted that can keep up with Larkin?
@stephencalvird72768 ай бұрын
ASP's favorite player was Patrick Kane??? Oh we're totally resigning Kane. Yzerman is a smart man.
@Detwhat7 ай бұрын
We gotta resign that man. I've read that Kane wants more than a 2yr deal. I heard he prefers a 3yr deal. If I'm Yzerman, I give it to him. Not unless we could make a trade or sign a top player. If we can't, we definitely need to resign him. I bought a Kane jersey two days after signing him lol.

Trust me, Nate Danielson is going to be a top 6 forward. Chicago's first overall pick said that Nate was the hardest forward to play against. Also ASP was ranked the best European defenseman. If you like Hronik then you will love this guy. He's a lot better than Hronik. He's an offensive defenseman who will put up numbers. This was a great draft. Also, getting Gibson was a coup. I've heard him being compared to derian Hatcher. He's a bulldog, who can chip in offensively. But he's primarily a physical stay at home defenseman. Our goalies need guys like him.

@@nirvanaguitarKane said yesterday that Danielson reminds him of Bedard a little bit. Those are Kanes words, not mine lol. I've been watching this guy for a few years. I think Danielson will play a similar game to Larkin. He's a strong skater, has some speed, has a wicked shot, he's a playmaker who can make sick passes. I honestly think the guy could play right now. Alot of "experts" are sleeping on him. Alot of Wings fans were not happy.

Nate Danielson is being slept on. The guy will be a top 6 forward. He put up 5 or 6 points in the exhibition games. He's a fast two way player. Chicago's Bedard said Danielson was the toughest for him to play against. I wouldn't be shocked if he gets to the NHL earlier than expected.

As a 35 year Red Wings fan out here in the Pacific Northwest I am sorry to the rest of Red Wings Nation that I am not excited about Nate Danielson. I know solid two-way player that might put up 40-50 points a season. I know I am probably missing something with this kid and I have nothing personal against him. He will be a solid player in the league. I guess I am just underwhelmed.
