Demidov's talent is one thing, but the comfort level, and enthusiasm this guy is showing around top guys in the sport is incredible. I've seen guys in their 30's fall apart in front of CEOs and big names...this guy has poise by the truck full. WOW Hage did well, but you could see he was nervous, a bit tight...but still did very well. Demidov is all confidence and swagger...and the dude did his homework. No wonder the Habs were excited to pick this guy. Makes me wonder what the other teams were thinking passing this guy over.

They are building something special. With the core players already locked up to very reasonable contracts, and the cap going up, by time Hutson and Demidov have matured a bit they will have the cap space to really round off the team with a couple of high end free agents.

While it was interesting, there was a distinct lack of focus on the player's feet. It is very important, when evaluating a player, to understand their feet. All drafters should have a booklet with the player's feet in them.
