Had to remove my long paragraph of me simping over the animation cuz it was getting too laggy to type my theory- the summary of is: Awesome story and animation and characters. Also theory time. So there's quite a bit I think so here we go. My first part is that obviously Rain and Roy grew up together or were friends of sorts, I'm guessing they may have been roommates or something of the sorts since it seemed like Rain stayed in the same place as Roy for quite some time. I also think Roy was possibly an only child since in one scene it seemed to show a family photo with who could’ve been Roy. One day I'm guessing Roy accidentally left the door open to a room he was very protective of and Rain went inside to see what was so important there. Rain looked in to one of the cells to see another human, startling him and causing him to fall back into another container. But I have a theory this could have been his since there was a small image of what looked like it could have been Rain, but idk and that's pretty farfetched. Also when it showed Rain and Roy doing surgery on someone I think it was Lex maybe? And maybe Rain had some kind of experimentation done to him so that would explain his odd vision. The rest of the story seems pretty obvious. Also I think the person in the container Rain saw could have been Neon? Yeah that was def going to be Rain's container now that I look back. Edit: Fixed some wording so it’s easier to read the comment.

Quick backstory I believe: so the blue haired character was fond of the short haired blond dude, he was told to go on a misson to kill a dreaded haired woman, as it cuts to him sleeping, and they wake up suddenly, and walk down a hallway to see tubes of people that had or been killed and there life force is bringing put into something else or possible it was that he died and lost his memories when he was revived he bangs his head against the glass causing it to shatter, then it flips back to him walking towards the woman but hesitated so he decided against it and broke the tracker that he had on his wrist, making the short haired blond dude angry making him call his squad to take care of him. After he gets cornered he pulls the gun on the short haired blind dude, making him punch the blue haired dude, as he yelling at him the rest of the squad looks pissed, or disappointed, or worried for the blue haired kid in advance a black woman on a motorcycle pulls up towards. Him saving him from whatever they will do to him, as it feels like she knows him somehow
