Watching this is seriously such an breath taking and relaxing experience, because I’ve watched your content for the past how many years? (And your still a really big inspiration for me ) And seeing you go from really unique and well made animation memes to a nicely paced and stunning short film is just amazing and shows so much improvement. This has to be if not my favorite animation that you’ve posted ever, and it’s simply because it’s just different and subtle from all your other stuff. Now that’s not me saying I don’t like anything else, but I’m personally a fan of just short films like this :)

Even if the story is sad, we can all agree that this animation, music, and characters here are so well drawn and designed! I love the transition between start and end, like when it only starts we see light and warm colors, like we can see Ron's happiness and enjoyment through it, but at the end we see cold and dark colors, like Ron's very sad... Also the story- it's sad that "owners" like this exist in our world. it really breaks my heart 💔💔 The effort is on very high level, even the music was made by your own! Music has such a calm but also the sad feelings, and its absolute perfect combo. Tbh i teared up a bit,, Everything here is perfect, a masterpiece that deserves more attention that it has now

My dog died today, and I could tell this wasn’t how he felt, he was happy with his life… my mom gave him treats and then the doctors just did something and he fell “asleep” in her lap… it still hurts thinking that he died not knowing that he was never going to wake up or see us again..

The music, the atmosphere, the colors and the art,,, everything turned out amazingly. I’m so happy to have witnessed your growth in the animation community and I’m so proud you have managed to finish an over 9 months (I’m pretty aware that the concept has been there for over a year) old animation without leaving it unfinished or losing hope. You’re someone who I really look up to, seriously. This animation did not only make me feel mixed emotions, it made me realize how common and sad this issue is,,, the scene where Ron is growing up while the time passes and how it finished with him closing his eyes hits hard. It’s almost like a loop, starting with him being born, his eyes closed and finishing with his death. Congrats Awrly

This animation makes me appreciate my current boy, and miss my old boy even more. Had a childhood dog I watched grow old in a neglectful household and as a child-teen all I could do is watch and report. Nothing came of the reports. He died last October and I wish he had more of a life, but he was a good boy. I like to imagine he's in a field of all the things he loved. Thank you for this awesome short film, brings great awareness.

I am so in love with how you draw, your style is absolutely adorable and the way you animated this is peak (given that the application you use is, on average to most, quite difficult to use). It’s impressive. The story is sad, but it’s telling and gives a message. Many people desert their pets and not ever pay attention to them, when they’re both old and young. Not just dogs, but any animal are dependent and have a need for love. It’s also super smart to make your own music while you’re at it, you seem to have a good ear and eye that you made the music match the video. It’s very beautiful. Can’t wait to see more of these mini movies! ❤

This is truly amazing, not only with the awe- inspiring animation, but with the story. How you conveyed the oassage of time of Rory sitting by the door waiting. You are able to see him slowly grow up, ad his "owner" i s absent. You can see that Rory just wants to love the owner, to see him once again... But the owner has lost interest. I hope that Rory got to finally pass on, to ba able to move away from the beast the left him. This truly made me cry so hard, I'm still crying as I write this, my cat snuggling up to me, confronting me! Truly, truly amazing, love your work, hopefully these owners who do this get their commupence :')

I managed to keep it together through out the video, but when it ended I just burst out crying haha, actually crying right now.. Your story telling is unmatchable and it really moved me. The lighting, the design, the colors, how the animation matches the music and vice versa just has a huge impact on the emotion of it all. The scene where you can tell how nights and days go by while the dog grows up just waiting in the same spot, man that was genius. This animation literally brought me to tears- until August of 2021, I had a fully grown doggo, that was blind, I never knew why, but he was blind. He was isolated in the kitchen 24/7 and almost nobody went in there to check up on him until he became severely ill, a few weeks before he died. I felt sorry for the guy, so I spent as much time with him as I could before he eventually passed away. (what makes this even more heartbreaking, is that he died a few hours before my birthday, and I even said to him "I'll see you on my birthday", so yeah that hit me really hard, my birthday was hella depressing) This video brought back memories, and I miss him. Thank you for making this, it really made my day. :'D

I think this deserves a lot more attention. Y'know? Seeing the entire post as one thing fills my heart with determination. Reading the description while watching this work is an experience very unique. This is effort, it's art in its purest form. It has history, it has emotions and it has life. woah i adore this smm, the animation itself is really smooth and the music fits the story so well even if there are no words to it! additionally the lighting changes were incredible - the bit where the dog grew up must have taken ages itself to make based on how small each of the changes were but oh my gosh i hope you think it was worth it because holy heckk this entire thing is stunning! The owner comes home soon after the video ends with lots of treats because he missed his pup. He had been in the hostpital after a car wreck. The dog was very happy to see him, and they lived happily ever after...
