Its so sad and unfortunate that Gabe passed away. I guess that was the reason they had to cancel the show. They need to bring this back!! I don't really care for a lot of reality TV shows and I know some of this was exaggerated, but for hard working people who work back breaking, dangerous jobs and love working outside like me, this quickly became my father's and mine all time favorite show. We would wait all week and watch every single new episode together. It was one of the very few times me and my father ever really got to bond over a tv show. I'm only 34 and still do live with both of my parents, but him and I both fell in love with this show from the very first episode! They really need to bring it back!!

So, rygaard was ran into the ground by the widow who never truly remarried, the second marriage was a farce. Secondly Jason rygaard is rebuilding again as he moves forward on trying to restart from scratch after he realized that he owned nothing due to gabe tying everything up in his alternative company Ryfeild properties. Thirdly, Todd Dewey was always our #1 truck driver for several years before his appearance on ice road truckers
