IMHO; SNW had potential, but I thought the bridge scenes were horrible regarding ST history, ie bridge too small and only two men on the bridge. Nurse Chapel character was THE BOMB, but again, historically inaccurate. Pike knowing his future end also seemed kinda stupid to me. I thought Uhura was chosen and played with excellence - best in show! Overall, it seemed like producers were trying to see just how much woke bs they could get away with. Your thoughts? Lower decks! Lower decks! Lower decks! Do you know when/if the nest season starts?

@@backtoearth1983 Two episodes out of how many address racism and sexuality? These specific issues were not the focus of the entire series, as seems the case with SNW (and far more so with STD - what an abomination!). SNW’s bridge, for starters, does NOT resemble the bridge of the Enterprise in the original ST pilot, specifically; it’s too small, and the only men on the bridge are Pike and Spock, the rest are women. This is not “historically” accurate with the original story - does not even resemble the original as it should. Nothing wrong with women on the bridge not wearing cheeky miniskirts - Janeway rulz! - but their focus is on woke ideology, not an accurate storyline according to the brand. There’s also an episode where some of the female bridge crew cross-dress as men. Just a couple examples prominent throughout the series that take precedence over good writing, and it compromises the brand. Frankly, despite my criticisms, was hoping to see a season three. Lower decks… Battery is dying… Check ya later Peace

Ok, I have a question. You listed the following: - Episode 3 is Prelude to Axanar - Episode 4 is The Gathering Storm - Episode 5 is Crucible So what were episodes 1 and 2? Are they perhaps the "Ambassador Soval - Minister TLera on Vulcan" scene and the "Interlude - An Axanar Fan Film" scene? Or are they some installments I've not seen? Also, just a minor comment... I do think the current Axanar Bridge set is awesome, and I like the semi retro looking yet updated displays. But I actually liked more the layout as shown in the "USS Ares 3D Bridge concept "video" with the second bridge access, which I think was a corridor, perhaps to a conference room or bridge office/ready room? It was a more balanced looking bridge, which always bothered me about the original TOS bridge of the Enterprise.
