Absolutely gorgeous! BTW, Ardupilot does offer thermal hunting.

I know! I will try it with this plane. A future video maybe...

The auto thermalling in ArduPilot works great. Definitely give it a try!

Well done. Personaly i use stabilized for takeoff and landing.

Stabilize (or FBWA mode as it is called) is probably better in most situations. But this glider is very slow and easy to fly. I enjoy flying it in manual mode.

@@AxelsDIY stabilized for takeoff/landing. I use fwba only when strong wind, gust.
@AxelsDIY9 ай бұрын
@@adbas6201 I looked it up. I Didn't even know about STABILIZE för ArduPlane! But as an experienced pilot, I don't think I would like it. I prefer full manual control, otherwise, I want the full self-leveling behavior of FBWA. It can be nice in very windy conditions as you say.

Wonderfull video. Do you mind if I ask you is this OpenTX or EdgeTX and with which soft/parameters ? Best regards :)
@AxelsDIY9 ай бұрын
I am using EdgeTX with ELRS, and the Yaapu telemetry script that receives and displays information from the ArduPilot system.

Blir så imponerad över er som kan bygga med balsa, sån otrolig finish på bygget! Inte förgäves heller, hon ser ut att flyga otroligt fint och harmoniskt i luften!
