All the gold at Ft.Knox couldn’t get me in that cave. What a scary hole.😳. Liked the brave ones that went and made this video. 👍🏻

I would really like to do this myself but I don’t have the expertise and I’m not gonna put myself in danger like that. I’ve done some of the beginner caves around Ingleton the problem is there is nothing spectacular in them but still quite enjoyable. Was a good watch and a great cave.

There is another way out, but it takes >4 hours from Log Book, instead of about 1 hour. If that was blocked you would have to learn how to cave dive pretty quick...

You make it look easy. Most videos ive seen don't even get past the vice. I had no idea how huge the cave was.

Yeah, colossal! Comes out in the Clydach Gorge the other side of the mountain, culminating in a 500m cave dive. That route was first achieved by Martyn Farr on 11th August 1986.

Why visit hell without w/o the sentence !!! I've no problem with heights , but I don't take elevators ! Not being in control of a situation is the worst possible type of terror !!! What if the guy in front of you had a heart attack ! What if your lights failed ! Someone stated earthquake ! If a rock fell and blocked one of those tight passages you could not turn around especially if the guy behind you got sick or stuck ! What then big boy huh !!! what!!! what !!! You guys are fucking nuts ! Nuff said !!!

(i) Plenty of places to pass (ii) Spare light (iii) Solid rock (iv) I said, solid rock (v) Well, yeah, some people turn back. Seen 6' 6" bloke go through the crawl: impressive!

The UK isn't located where tectonic plates meet so Earthquakes are very rare and there are no major ones.

I have a few questions. All of u entered at once? All the supplies in the cafe and restaurant are yours or people left supplies behind?
@jannpadley88314 жыл бұрын
On a big camp people start going in on Friday afternoon, in small groups. Some people solo! Cave divers can take the 500m dive from Clydach Gorge minutes to Hard Rock Cafe in about 20 minutes. Everyone takes a kit bag with 2x 6L drum, crammed with supplies and booze!!! Got everything you could possibly need down there. I've only done it once, due to laziness... ;-)

It's fun! Seriously I was drawn to caving by the thrill of exploring and going to places that few people, if any had been to before. I've never made any major discoveries unfortunately but have been lucky enough to find the odd unexplored bit of passage with my friends. There's something about being the first people to ever be somewhere that's unique. Other reasons I love caving are it gets me out of the city for a weekend, then there's the camaraderie. I can go caving with a stranger for one weekend and by the end I'll know them better than colleagues I've worked with for years. Plus there's the challenge of overcoming the obstacles. Hope that gives some understanding of why most people who've tried caving love it.

@@EndingGamertag I've actually taken quite a few claustrophobics caving and surprisingly it's never been a problem. I keep them moving and they're too busy to start panicking, plus once you're in you don't have much choice except to keep going forward. In tight squeezes you can't turn around. I always put any claustrophobes close to me so I can reassure them. If I see them getting a bit tense I just start chatting about any old shit. It distracts them and hearing from the tone of my voice how calm I am reassures them.
