I used a washer in-between the shelf and brass tab to lower the shelf and it allows me to rest my thumb on the shelf

I'm shooting this tab, having previously shot an AAE Elite. Its an excellent tab, but the shelf is small and hit my thumb in the right place to rub it raw. Also, the finger spacer was down-right painful to use. This was probably due to the geometry of my fingers. Luckily, with a little filing I was able to get the larger shelf from the Elite to fit and also my Jager finger spacer. The Jager is narrower and concave on both sides, so there is less pressure on my fingers and its far more comfortable to shoot. Now I've got the best of both worlds!

Try taking the shelf of the Wiawis tab and see if it will fit on this tab. It might make a big difference?

For some reason, it looks like your follow-though with your drawing hand is much better with this tab. Maybe it's just the day, but you can often notice your hand opening and minimal follow though, while this was smoother. Check the video. I was using the Black Mamba Viper (that's the one with straps holding all 3 fingers, itf you want that setup) w/ palm attachment, but no shelf or pinkie hook. A friend loaned me her Axcel. and my next two ends were noticeably better, though I don't know why. She gave me the tab (not to her liking). Nice to have friends like that. I've been using it since.

I shoot a KSL Gold tab, and I love it, the fit finish and weight is perfect, it's an all around great tab. This looks and feels like a refinement of that tab, but in my opinion, TRUBall's price is unjustifiable, there is nothing that sets this tab apart enough that it should be almost double the price of similar quality tabs. If you had a WNS tab, or a cavalier, or any cheaper alternatives and you are looking to upgrade I think the contour is a good option if you don't mind the price, but I don't think it will make you preform any better than the other alternatives out there.

I like how the KSL used the way the elastic goes thru several holes & you end up with 3 fingers rather than 1 like most tabs.I read some where where most archers used 2 leather faces for 40+ lb weight like whats done here. The Win Win are a fiders delight

Hello and thank you for this review! I was wondering what is the thickness of the 3 layers(leather rubber)? Layer seems thin, are they? (I look for thin). Also one comment about the "shelf" size that was annoying a bit : there is a video with Braddy Ellison showing a prototype where it seems he has "filed" (removed) some metal to cut the corner where finger may touch.

What vanes are you using? And what configuration are they?

They look like Bohning Impulse 3" vanes. They're a good vane. However, because of the length, if you run enough offset to keep the vane straight. The second vane will contact the plunger button. Then after about 20-30 shots the front will start to rip on the second vane. I now run Bohning Air vanes and I've had much more luck!

The ksl has 3 bands for your fingers. Its a pain in the ass, i modified mine to the standard 1 loop
