I love that you still make Axe II videos. I just got one in a trade, been using Helix for years but this sounds better imo. More complicated to set up and use tbh.

Something that would have been helpful to beginners like me is how do you change scenes while playing? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I only got my axe fx 2 a few hours ago..
@GurtejSinghGuitar Жыл бұрын
Good point there :) For changing scenes live it would be best to have a midi foot controller which can allow you to seamlessly switch scenes without interrupting your playing! Hope this helps :)

Do you know anything about hooking up external pedals. I have a digitech whammy dt I would like to use with it. How do I hook it to the axe fx and program it? You should show a video on that
@GurtejSinghGuitar Жыл бұрын
I don't have much experience connecting external pedals unfortunately as I dont own much of them. Have you tried checking the fractal audio forums? There is a lot of great information there! Hope this helps. Cheers.

Hello how are you? First of all thanks for the Fx2 videos!!! I have a latency problem when I change scenes. Is there a way to solve it? Thank you!!!
@GurtejSinghGuitar6 ай бұрын
I am good, thanks a lot, hope you are well too. There should not be too much latency while changing scenes, but it can also depend on how many blocks are being turned on/off and also the overall load being put on the system. Maybe try with fewer blocks and see if the problem goes away?

Is there a way to add a block in 1 scene and it not be on in all other scenes? I find it annoying that I have to go back to ALL other scenes and turn off the block that I added in the scene I am in. For instance, I add a chorus in scene 4, but all other scenes now have a chorus on. That is 7 unnecessary edits. BTW, I mainly use the front panel on the unit instead of the editor.

From what I know of (And I tried a few ways) I don't think you can. It can be a bit time consuming to switch off the block in all scenes, but i think that's probably the only way to do it.

@@GurtejSinghGuitar Thank you for the reply. It's up for sale now. I am moving on to something different. Maybe newer generation axe fx stuff if these things have been fixed. I might try an FM3.

Hi Gurtej, thanks for these videos they've helped me a lot! I have an issue using scenes for live performance. In this certain patch I will have scene 1 be clean, I will add an overdrive pedal (using an IA switch), then switch to scene 2 which has that same overdrive on and slight volume boost. The issue is when I go back to scene 1, the overdrive is still on and I would like it to be off. I understand why it's working this way, I was just curious if there may be a setting that makes the scenes and IA switches play nicely together? I hope that makes sense. Thanks again!

I figured out this feature is called "scene revert" in the I/O menu!

Dear gurtej. İ wanna ask a q: i have 3 different presets. İs there a way to combine(copy the preset) all 3 presets and make one presets with 3 scenes. Because it is very hard to dial all the blocks one by one 😁
@GurtejSinghGuitar Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply my friend, I've been busy moving house. I dont think there is an easy way to do this unfortunately. Maybe you can use copy and paste, but that's also gonna take considerable time to acheive.

Hey thanks mate! I did not actually upload the preset as it was just an example preset. If you send me your email, I am happy to send it over to you! Cheers.
