Very nice, cheers. Just remember to turn tracking from fast to smooth on the virtual capo. Supposedly, fast is intended for single notes. According to the wiki: "Smooth" is Poly and "Fast" is Mono. And that guitar is gorgeous!

I would like to know which IR was used to acoustic impulse from 3 sigma audio? i purchased acoustic impulse responses there is 270 different IRs 😅 awesome video 👍🏻🙏🏻🎸

@DaveWebbMusic , this was awesome , thanks! I got everything sounding great except the pitch shifting doesn't sound right on the FM3 any one with an fm3 try the last two examples ?

Turns out you need to change the input to slow on the pitch block. Slow is polyphonic. Fast is for single notes. I only found this out after posting. Makes a tonne of difference.

@@matthewperry2767 input was confusing to me but I found the fractal blocks guide it’s saying I should have a pitch tracking option will look tonight

@@matthewperry2767 okay took some messing around , but it was a good learning experience. The mistake was dropping the pitch block to a line bellow all the other blocks. Not sure why this does what it does but it wasn’t dropping to d no matter what I changed in the v. capo settings. So I noticed I had an extra space and just moved the other blocks around. Once everything was linear it worked perfect. Again , thanks to @DaveWebbMusic for sharing your knowledge and giving us a great preset,

Using the MK IIC+? The MK IIC++ is the actual amp Metallica had added to the Fractal ecosystem.

You are correct, I’ll have to try it. However it also says “The IIC++ amp model is the same as the IIC+ with different tapers.” From my understanding (which is limited) doesn’t that mean it’s the same..? Just that the knobs/numbers would respond at different points..? Metallicas engineer said ‘they were having difficulty migrating to the updated firmware’ at the time when the models were updated. Which to me just sounds like he didn’t want to tweak all the settings. Fair. Regardless, I’ll get in and have a tinker. Thanks for pointing it out.

To me, boosting a Mark is useless, it sounds more fake to me. Not bad, but not as good as the amp without it. I remember I tried the same thing with my old Mark IV A and it didn't sound good with a TS808 but glorious with the guitar straight into the amp. But I also remember that when I owned the axe fx II MK II the IV didn't have the same gain like the real amp but a bit less.
