If only like one or two amps... get the amps. I have a line 6 x3 and use many of the amps with many setting for my different guitars. I'm saving up for an axe fx. It all depends on what you want.

@@user-qr7ee2cp4y what I did with my HX Stomp was to demo amps and buy the tube versions I liked the best. So far really enjoy the Mesa Mark V and Bogner Uberschall amps. And buy one that is unique where there is no amp model yet like Mezzabarba or Wizard. But after having tube amps, think another amp modeler is what I want to record easier to DAW without miking amps and get an FRFR powered cab to feel the air playing like on a real tube amp.

The Herberts were always my favorite of the Diezel brands. That third channel always has that crunch I enjoy writing with. Now I am dead set on getting an Axe-FX. Thank you sir for the vid. Cheers.

Looking forward to getting an Axe FX III instead of another expensive tube amp. So practical and perfect for home recording and practice. Love tube amps but already have a few and cannot see paying another 20k to get these models in the Fractal.

i miss having a vh4 silver real amp, but i don't miss carrying it around! i actually used CH 3 for leads and CH 4 for rhythm on the real amp with their 2x12 rear loaded cabs. i had the Stereo version and it was soooo nice. but i have it and more with the Axe of course!

Thank you for taking the time to do such excellent demos I really appreciate it! I’m definitely buying one in the next month or so. I do a lot of writing and recording. I bought the POD when it came out and got a lot of mileage out of it. I produced a band in Belfast Northern Ireland and I brought it with me and sold it to the engineer at the studio before I left because they weren’t available yet in the UK. I decided to wait a while on modeling until the technology got better and it’s really come along way in 20 years! Thanks again for your excellent work!

First, I don’t even own an FXIII or any Axe product and I sit here and watch all your vids on dialing them in. Awesome job! Out of curiosity is ther a “Midcut Master” and “Midcut Intensity” setting anywhere in the fx3 like the Herbert has?

No but there is a graphic eq in the amp block and pulling out some 500hz does a very similar job

Hey Leon, Im a Huge fan of your video tutorials Suggestions on the Axe fx 3, I Love my Fractal Audio Axe fx 3 Fw 16.1 it's spot on & Slamming in the room when Dialed in But not the same in play back in Protools DAW using the same Hedd type 20 moitors for room and play back What the Trick? Can you please post a Video on This issue ? Thanks Steve

Hello Todd, Great demo as always, thanks. I have been thinking of buying the Diezel VH4, I own the Axe-Fx III. I also have th UA Ox, I am wondering if it is worth getting the real amp. It seems like a great amp for the studio. I need to do some serious thinking.

When mixing different levels on input drive, master volume and level, is there an easy way to make sure your volume levels will be the same from preset to preset. Seems like a challenge, especially when using different amps and cabs between presets. Yet again another great tutorial. Thank you!!

Newer versions of AxeEdit have a “preset levelling” window in the Tools menu that lets you monitor your output levels and adjust the amp level

Ok Leon !!! I'm noticing that when adjusting your tones that ( for instance) when adjusting mid you are playing predominantly higher registers ? And so forth with bass you are doing higher registers?? I feel you should play ( for teaching maybe because let's be real your ear and playing are already going to take you where YOU thrive ) s wider spectrum of cords so the audience can better hear the adjustments you are making .. Also for me (once OG amp builder at VERRLLEN AMPS SEATTLE WA) This is indeed a beefed up 2203 circuit in nature .. That being said . I wonder why you are not laying a bit more middle for the growl ?
