Rosh my man! I almost forgot about you when I needed you most. For me nobody beats your quality and communication. You are just smart and to the point. No frills. As legit as they come. Thanks for what you do, and I still appreciate you chatting with me on IG months ago whether you remember that or not =)

Superb video, so refreshing not to be hearing endless riffs when what is needed is an overview of how a particular functionality works. This video definitely delivered what I was looking for without distraction.

Great video man! Is there a way to load an specific layout per preset? Like, if I have a preset that’s more like a pedalboard and another one that is all scenes?
@RoshRoslin4 жыл бұрын
In the FC12 you can make different layouts. The factory settings have different layouts dedicated to effects or presets only. I would start there

Can you exclude certain FX from the scenes - so switching the scene wouldn't change the bypass state of the effect ???
@RoshRoslin3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Just leave the effect off in the scene(s) you'd like them bypassed

Rosh, thanks for the insight into how you set up for playing live. I do have one question - do you ever link to an effects layout when you need access to more than the 5 effects buttons at the top? Thanks again for the great information. I would love to hear how you’re using Ableton and Logic to do your switching. Again, thank you for sharing. These videos are fantastic to reference.

For some clients I have programmed access to other layouts within their performance layout. I found I rarely need access to more than 5 effects in one preset. I'll just build another preset with the other effects I would need instead of making a convoluted layout. YMMV

And definitely in the queue for Midi switching using those programs!

Just got an AxeFXIII a few months ago,about to get either the FC/6 or 12.....Do you think the 6 would be okay,or do you need the 12??
@RoshRoslin3 жыл бұрын
It would depend on how many effects you need access to. There's plenty of ways to access effects scenes and more using the Layout feature

@@RoshRoslin is there a way to set up a “Table of Contents “like the FM3,where you have a button labeled Presets,Scenes,and FX,so when you press say the Presets button,it populates the FC6 with your presets??....Or Scenes,etc??....
@PhilWilliams33 жыл бұрын
I am in the same boat re FC-6 or 12. What did you decide?
@scottpeters44013 жыл бұрын
@@PhilWilliams3 well....I bought the FC-6....while it’s great...I ultimately returned it and got the FC-12....I just like having everything fit on one page,without having to scroll to the next to see everything.....I figured I already spent $2 grand on the best modeler ,why skimp on the foot controller....I wanted the top of the line one....it’s amazing what these FC’s can do....
@PhilWilliams33 жыл бұрын
@@scottpeters4401 Thanks for that Scott, you have just confirmed what I was thinking! Looks like its going to be FC-12 for me.

How would a Roland FC 300 midi controller work with the Axe FC 3 ? I understand how to select patches and assign the pedals. I was more concerned about selecting scenes.
@RoshRoslin3 жыл бұрын
You would use the roland FC300 to select the CC# and send a value of 127 to select the scene. I would refer to the manual to see the scene table
