Nice one. First real life pitching video. Love the bit where you forget the hooks. Nice to see inside how everything works. Other videos were lacking. Off to do a practice pitch of mine now. Thanks

I have been looking at these style of tents for a while now. It is nice to see someone I am already subbed to who actually has one. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a blessed weekend my friend. Dale

Great review thanks. Where did you end up purchasing it from? I’m in the US and don’t see a local reseller. I went to camping world online but it’s sold out. Personally I have reviewed dozens of tents in this size, and the value for me is the mini walls which allow for a lot more useable space. I also like the center chimney for heat distribution. The flooring is also great. In the Northeast you can get torrential rain in the white mountains so that floor is great. Also no one has a custom insulated add on for the floor. And finally, it’s physical weight is 20 to 30 lbs lighter than many in the same class (Cabelas etc). I almost pulled the trigger on a Luxe 8p but for a 15x15 tent there is not that much room due to slant of sidewalls (does weigh 15 lbs however). Thanks again.

Thanks for the kind words. I live in England and bought this from Go Outdoors. I love this tent as I camp alone, I love the large empty space for a table and my cot and of course the stove! Lol

Hi Scott Love the look of these style of tents . Love the internal height of these tents too , built for normal people not those of us who are vertically challenged (Ahem @TeamOverland_UK😉👍😂🤣) . They look super simple to pitch too . . . . . till you ge to the guy (guide) ropes . Maaaannn . That suckers got guy ropes for daaaays son . PMSL . When are we gonna see you in a hard shell RTT Scott ? I predict just after or at The Adventure Overland Show in a few weeks . Just you wait till you've seen Messrs Marper and Allen's set up . PMSL . Speak soon buddy stay safe 😉👍😎 Fattrucker

Thanks, and I have been weighing options for the hard top RTT. But I''l be using the Bell tent over the winter. So I got time to think. lol Unfortunately/Fortunately I'll be in the states for the Overland Show. So I'm going to miss that. And the guy lines, yea, there's loads!| lol But its worth it to be able to stand up! haha

Lukus Carter it’s a nice tent and it’s not cheap but the leak it’s not acceptable and when I called Robens they are not bothered

Hussars Overland mine has a little rubber cap that goes on the outside to keep water from getting in. I used it again a couple weeks ago and I didn’t have any water get in.

Cool tent - but looks a little cumbersome.

Not to bad honestly. It was worth it for a couple days stay and the wood stove option was the real selling point. Being able to have a stove in the winter should be great! But I’ll let you know! Pol
