I had that truck on my bench last night! It's had a few more upgrades but the same truck for sure. Beautiful Job!

😊👍cool! 3:54 this is why I always coat all metal parts with a thin coat of sticky grease it protects from rusting and also if the bearings are loose and slipping making that wear mark on a shaft the tacky grease will always make the burring spin before just spinning on the shaft. I also always coat all my bearings with corrosionX bearing oil with a drop or two on my fingers and coat the bearings this helps stop them from getting rusted .

I just got these transmission gears and they look great, but I was wondering what grease you used on the gears.

Can I change the gears without removing the transmission?
@HarleyDesignsInc6 жыл бұрын
No, it has to be removed. It’s very simple.

Watched them all,thanks for the memories. You guys have a blast at Axialfest.

The Incision gears was my first Honcho upgrade. When installing the gears, the shaft pin had to be slightly tapped into the top gear to fully seat (finger pressure was not enough) which I like because there is zero play avoiding any wear of the pin and or gear. Super precision set of gears and I am very happy with them as with all my other Incision products I have installed. Driveshafts are next.

I did the incision front axle shafts just as you did...now to get a tighter turning radius can I cut away the stock steering stops without causing damage?

6:38 The only benefit of replacing the plastic bushing in the Spur Gear is that the metal gear will better center the Spur..... HEY!! Wait a minute. That's a GOOD thing! 😎😀 I always use a metal 1150 Bearing with a Robinson Racing Spur Gear. Now the Trans Gears... I've been using the Incision set. Economical and STRONG! If even only the center and upper Gear. Can you answer a dumb question Josh? I forget basics occasionally. Will this Gear Set also fit the Wraith?? I'm pretty sure they're the same, but not 100%. *Thanks to you and Matt for a GREAT Series!!!* I never missed an Episode, and thoroughly enjoyed every one! Carmine 🚂

Yes, same gear set for the Wraith 👍🏻

So when replacing the skid plate what do you do about the rear upper link? Cause the stock plate has screw tie ins. Am I to just put a nut onto the screws like the front upper?
@HarleyDesignsInc6 жыл бұрын
Yes. I didn’t have to because I already moved my upper links up on the link sliders.
@fistofzuk1016 жыл бұрын

Week 16 I watch them all and commented a lot, I liked seeing how the same 2 trucks turned out so different and that was what made this Budget Build so much fun to watch and made your videos stand out! So for that I thank you and I hope that you 2 team up again for more.
