Really cool shots/scenes! Gosh i need to finish my trucks and get to doing this as well =) I have a TRX4 that I am converting to extended cab, long bed Ford F250 (1977 model) and a Axial Deadbolt 2nd Gen that I am gonna turn into a Ford Bronco similar to the one in the video. Edit : Subbed and liked btw! Edit 2 : Forgot about my LOSI Stadium truck, but that's on the back burner till the 2 crawler/haulers are done.

I picked up the cj7 last night, and it dumped snow here in Reno. With this being my first crawler I wasn’t sure if it was okay to play in the snow. I’m about to sneak it outside now for a quickie.

Why do all the 2024 rc crawlers seem to have a clicking sound to them. What new thats not meshing. And its not just axial i have noticed this. More so with axial but still whats up with that. Reminds me of the 70s and the wooden duck on wheel you pulled with a rope. Click click click click. I realy want a new rc next month and my grand daughter is 8 and wants a 1/18 bronco . But whats with the clicking on so many of the new rc crawlers. All thoughts on this are welcome before i spend good money for junk.

I don’t think it’s anything major or something that’s poor quality. My cj is new and I wanted to get it out as soon as possible. I do know from learning from other axial guys that the transmission is fairly dry from the factory. Meaning they didn’t add much grease at all. One reason that I just learned is, the clicking noise is possibly the dig unit of the transmission. I plan on opening up the whole transmission and going over every gear with some good quality grease. All rc that come from the factory are from what I’ve seen and heard are fairly light on the factory grease. All my trx4’s were like this and I’ve gone through all the parts and components and gears. So it’s nothing about quality of the products or brands. I just think a lot of people don’t take the time to go through the transmissions because it might be considered too hard or too much work. I do plan on making this Jeep much smoother and quieter. Great question and thank you for watching.

The clicking could be differentials or trans related or maybe driveline. The microphone also may be picking it up louder than it would be in person.
