Can you put kevlar bottom heads from American drum corps style drums on these? I wasn't sure if the metal snares would even rattle well against something tensioned so high?

Ooo interesting question! My honest thought is that they would be too thick and not resonate as well. These drums are thick and have a very deep pitch, some of that is from the build and some from bottom head tuning. That being said I’m all for experimentation so if you do try it out let me know how it sounds!
