I just finished mine. Added the 2 speed option and the axe 2300 sensored system. I like the short wheelbase and huge approach angle. Plus it’s set up for a servo winch.

Always been a Mog fan. So I’ll definitely be adding a UMG to my collection. The wheel base needs to be a bit longer IMO. I know Mogs are short wheel base rigs, but this is a crawler and I like a longer wheel base on my crawlers.👍🏼

Danny RC has a couple new videos with the new UMG with a 12" wb and it looks good like that. I will buy the body for my SCX10 with TRX-4 portals and go from there.

the tilt body mount was an idea from GCM. they did this style mount for the twin hammers with the upright shock kit. axial doing a kit again is very exciting, the xj was getting a little dated! they should totally do the crc jku in a kit version and add Horizons better grill from the RGT 86100! would be sweet

Same wheelbase as SCX10 Dingo which is very capable on the rocks. Can’t wait to get mine!

with this system of mounted body u must to have front hinge. it means if you want to change front part of body/cabin u cant without printing new front grill with that hinge. So this is working as it is only for this body

I'm SOLD!! 'Mogs are short Wheelbase, so they were right on with that. The Suspension seems soft... I like that! Too many are too stiff. The Body is GREAT! I can't afford one, but I'm getting one!! This Old Fart has made up his mind.... I just have to decide what to sell. Great Review! Carmine 🚂🚙

Always great reviews my friend. I have ordered a new set of HC links to increase the wb from 288 to 295 to see if it helps the stability. Also ordered the Vanquish top transmission shaft, $13.99, to remove play. Hope it helps. Merry Christmas

I like it. My issue is the crappy transmission it comes with. First time out the transfer case gears crumbled and I was going easy on it.

@@RCReviewChannel Axial's FIRST SCX10. Right after the AX10 Ridgecrest and AX10 Deadbolt.... They released the DINGO in early 2007, on the first twin C-Channel Frame that we all know today. 😁 The Dingo's WB was 11.4. By the end of the year, Axial released the 12.0" Wheelbase Jeep Unlimited and Wrangler.... 2009 they introduced the 12.3" SCX10 Cherokee and 12.0" Deadbolt. The ones everyone is familiar with now! 😉 There's your History lesson, $5.00! 😁

What holds down the front? Is the front bumper winch ready? Love UniMogs and I agree this is the best Axial in a long time. Traxxas has a Mercedes license for the G-Wagon so I'm really curious to see if they put out an actual UniMog.

Jason Smith sr Axial instructions are very easy to follow. It you have basic mechanical ability, you can built it.

The transmission is the same transmission that was in the SCX10.2 Cherokee kit version.

Not impressed and it crawls like crap compared to what I have ! In my opinion it's just a shelf queen! It's to light and too short to crawl . Not impressed Axial. Ready for a new platform and you still bring old crap to the table when it comes to design!
