awesome hardcore bashing for the yeti xl, but the rear end is a bit uncontrolable on 6s....my opinion is that this car is not really made for 6s bashing in mind....on 4s lipo not only drives better but it will have a lot less dammages and problems over time....great video guys, thanks for sharing, big thumbs up!!!

Nice video man! - the yeti xl is not in my RC budget (not even close ;) ) so I'm having to live vicariously through folks like you who can afford one! - lolololol!! It's very new so I'm sure the rc community will come across some flaws or weaknesses in the platform (no RC is without its flaws) but from the looks of the videos I've watched, it performs like a beast and, imho, is the sickest looking vehicle that is out there I'm not the type that gets jealous of other people's things, but I'm jealous as hell of those folks who own a yeti - I'd be proud to own either the 1/10 or 1/8 - but, imho, if I sprung for one, it'd be the XL for sure happy bashing to all!!!
@MrRcspeedster10 жыл бұрын
Nice video, the yeti xl is a beast. Waiting on parts as well. I tore the right front wheel off when a wooden pallet got in the way.

@lukaszpiwowarek823010 жыл бұрын
Ive had mine for ~3 weeks: exploded stock spur and pinion and burned out the stock ESC. FYI IF you have an XL, the stock ESC is a rebranded Castle Sidewidner V8 which is rated for vehicles up to 11 POUNDS ONLY - XL clocks in at 12.75 without batteries! After I burned it out I swapped it for Mamba Monster 2 1/8th scale ESC and its magic. So if you kill ESC on your Yeti XL, buy yourself a Mamba Monster 2. Dont replace it with the AE-4 from Axial.

Even better than that first video...shame the driveshaft broke, otherwise *IMO* the other breakages weren't too bad for what you've put the thing through. My driving is completely opposite of your videos but I've thoroughly enjoyed mine so far as well, and I guess running mine on 4S without doing massive jumps means it should be much better off lol. I've broken a wheel so far though off a jump, that's my only break so far after 7 sessions.
@ABPalacios10 жыл бұрын
thanks bro! and very true...the truck was put through so many jumps..and it lasted a very long time before something broke. Still planning to do another video sometime soon.

Hi. Quick question. How did you correct the cars trajectory while it was in midair so it landed perfectly? It would be useful if I knew how to do it so i don't keep landing on my back tires and do a back roll
@ABPalacios7 жыл бұрын
MaxPlays EA depending on the way it launches.. Brake to lean forwards, or throttle to lean backwards.

@pquinones31775 жыл бұрын
J kes...i m running the same setup on my yeti. With so much torque and very soft front and rear springs that beast wants to rotate on its own axis. I too have broken shocks and split the drive shaft. Upping the pinion gear and swapping for harder springs all around made a world of a difference.

@toysoldier465529 жыл бұрын

yes i agree...but i had gotten this right when it was available. Now they made the kit..to make it more stable. sway bar, better shocks etc. Thats my next upgrades that come in the kit.

Man a lot of those issues aren't even respectable for a 700bucks RTR... 1st the Yoke issue just screams "Yup this is the kind of RC you might wanna disassembly and locktite and re-tight everything before using". 2nd That bearing! I swear my EXO had load bearing issues always! I always destroyed my Rear Bevel Diff Bearing after a Hardcore session. Seems that the undersized bearings is still a thing for Axial and holds true for the Yeti XL. 3rd that Shock Cap.. Well the RTR does use an alarming amount of Plastic for a 700 bucks car, The flex of the front plastic turnbuckles is still present. 4th Plastic Shafts... My god the E-REVO again. In conclusion.... Get a SAVAGE FLUX HP.. Don't look back! Might not be the same kind of RC but For Gods Sake the Yeti XL feels like a car released just too early under production.. Too much money to fix stuff it should have come standard with.

I don't know what the hype with the Yeti is, it looks super unstable. Maybe it's just because I'm not a crawler guy...
@ABPalacios9 жыл бұрын
im not a crawler guy as well...and i enjoy the crap out of it though. Im a hardcore basher..
@toysoldier465529 жыл бұрын
AB Palacios would sway bars help keep all 4 wheels on the ground? I seen a lot of 3 wheel action and Axial is calling this a monster buggy, not a crawler so idk could have changed the concept for this truck, it does come with monster truck tires I see on their website.
