Currently bagging a 167g Gyropalooza and 173g Fission and what you said about both discs is spot on in my experience. The fission is straight and has a stable finish, the Gyropalooza R2 is less stable- some turn, but will come out if it, or I can get it to just go laser straight with minimal fade if I hyzer flip it slightly. I’m sure weight has some effect too like you said. All in all though, I love both discs and I love the Crave! Perfect for my bag.

the crave was really the first mvp disc I tried out. First course I went to with my Proton Crave, parked 3/3 holes. Loved it, then after a while it got a bit to flippy on me, definitely need to try out a new one, great video!

Ya iv got 3 craves in fission 163g, 167g, and 172g. As you can guess they got from us to straight to stable. I love tbe fission plastic in the crave

Super impressed with Fission. I thought it would be useless like Innova’s Blizzard plastic. I was wrong. MVP did it right. This is some great plastic.

This is the truest statement on fission. MVP plastics beat in very slowly, except for fission. Fission discs start on the stable side for the mold, but after as few as 20 throws they will be on the understable side.

I do not like their plasma plastic at all. Love Fission, then proton and neutron plastic. My plasma crave, wave, volt, envy, they just, I don't know, I hate em.

Why would you think a lighter flight plate and heavier rim makes the disc understable? Physics dictate that it makes the disc more NEUTRAL, due to the gyroscopic effect.

Only ever thrown a plasma Crave and it was a complete meathook. Uselessly overstable, it was nearly a Zone OS that skips.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf I'm a beginner with a noodle arm and my 172g eclipse Crave isn't even close to being a meathook. Perfectly straight with gentle turn and fade. I think that guy got a mislabeled disc, lol.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf 175 Fission will be overstable comparatively and a 165 fission will be similar to a 175 in other plastics; according to MVP. I believe this is due to the additional force required to get the additional weight on the rim up to speed.

Funny my plasma crave turns abit but fades fairly hard it's 170 geams

Yeah, my forehand was causing my 157g fission Crave to turn over and burn, but I upgraded to a 165g fission one and it straighted out for me.

I have better luck with the Relay (6,5,-2,1). Wish that came in an Eclipse plastic.

Two things affect a mold's flight - weight and shrink. Everything else is just marketing.
