I feel as if furious would’ve been angry and grieved. not necessarily trying to get revenge, but he would’ve had some type of 180 (depression or seeking answers) because he probably would’ve felt like he failed tre. We see how he acts when Tre was seeking revenge for Ricky and kinda had to get firm but still nurturing with Tre to get the gun. Also think he would’ve moved because I know he was down for his hood and being making it better but it at the same time his hood took his baby so I would think he would probably move. Move or become an activist and really try to reform the neighborhood after Tre died.

Furious would not have done nothing but grieve his son. Remember at the billboard he was telling the guys that they were doing exactly what they wanted him to do by killing other people. Especially his own kind, another young black man. Furious was against killing even when he was forced to protect Trey and himself when the burglar came in his home. And like most of us when we were young I don't think his dad Furious knew the troubles he was having with those 3 guys. They pulled a shotgun on him in front of his house he did not snitch. He didn't tell his dad the officer pulled the revolver on them during a traffic stop instead he went to Brandy to vent. I think still the only ones who would have taken Revenge if Trey died would have been Doughboy, Monster, and Dookie.

His mother would've suffered the most because she wanted Tre to move back in with her, but Tre was in his last year of High School and Furious didn't want Tre to leave which why he made statements about her missing out on his childhood. Plus she made the decision to send Tre to live with his Father in the first place. Furious wanted Tre to live with him, but his mother had full custody so she made that decision.

PAYBACK. I agree 💯 with Cheri here. For furious, he believed what he preached but it's largely an academic exercise until something happens to someone close to you. Not to mention he didn't really hesitate to fire at all when the burglar showed up. He's level headed but definitely has a berserk button. With that said, Ferris is dangerous, and was never unarmed and any thing furious did during a confrontation would likely be considered self defense. Furious is equally as likely to seek revenge and engage in activism. Highest probabilities there. I think Cheri also mentioned his quest for revenge would have a time limit. I firmly believe this too, after a few days without finding them, he'd shift gears and take another approach. Some commenters mentioned alcoholism and moving out of state, I think those are strongish possibilities knowing his character, albeit not as strong as the aforementioned. Leaving the hood is the least likely for him. I don't see it, he might leave THAT hood, but he'd end up in that type of community wherever he traveled.

Payback. First time commenting (just subscribed). I’ll give this a try: Upon hearing about his son Tre being taken out, Furious lives up to his name. He’s got the police, the D.A., the mayor, on notice. He’s fed up with it all, obviously while in mourning. But it doesn’t stop there. Reva joins in on the fight for justice as well (while it’s clear that she’s doing it for her son). Meanwhile, Ricky is taking the loss of his best friend in a bad way. He walks onto the porch where Doughboy, who is clearly not waiting for justice to be served, is sitting. They both have a one on one conversation. It’s now time to take them out! But in a shocking twist, Brenda stops them. She tells them to stop and watch the news. Ferris and his gang were eliminated by a secret armed group! Was it a rival gang? A vigilante? The police? No one knows. After all this, the living room became quiet. Complete and utter silence. It was over. But not for Furious and Reva. Street Justice may have been served, but not justice for Tre. Justice for the community! After Tre was laid to rest, things took a turn for the better. The neighborhood, though not perfect, was improving. Furious and Reva reconciled, but moved away to another part of L.A. (Baldwin Hills, maybe). As for Ricky and his family, he opted to go to the Army (he was offered a full college scholarship to play football there 🙏🏾). His girlfriend and son also were included in the Army deal as well. Brenda and Doughboy, surprisingly, repaired their relationship with each other. One day, Doughboy was met by a black man who handed him a business card. The mysterious man told him, “When you’re tired of sitting on the porch drinking 40s, give me a call. And oh, we’ll find some “work” for your friends as well”. Doughboy took a look at the card, flipped it over, and it on the back of it, was a Black Skull (I’ll let you all figure out the meaning of the skull 😂)….

Well I think the big conversation with furious and doughboy they are going to go back and forth, because I think that doughboy will want to get revenge, and furious would want doughboy to get revenge. But at the same time by him being an activist he might have tried to talk doughboy out of getting revenge. Or maybe making the decision eventually to go with doughboy to get the revenge. Knowing that doughboy was about that life, and doughboy knew exactly who the dude was so he wasn't hard to go through all those hoops to try to find Trey's killer. So that's a big conversation before he does anything.

You go to college you get an education and when you have made something of yourself you come back here and fix this place up.
