I was surprised to have the Med transport for as long as I did, now I know why haha. I actually didn't realise I could of went for the UK GER 2, but you blocked with a DD.

When I go 4 inf 2 tanks on USSR in r1, I prefer to place my 2 tanks in the Caucasus. That way, if GER doesn't stack Karelia round 1 and instead just puts 1-2 inf in every border state, then I can send a tank or even 2 down to India in round 2 if Japan does the 3 transport + 2 art open and looks like they might try to go India capture in round 3 with their opening moves. The only 2 downsides are A) having 2 less inf available if he does a Ukraine stack in R1, but that's pretty rare, and B) potentially leaving tanks vulnerable if he attack Caucasus in r1 but you'll know if this is possible before the placement phase, dependent upon how Ukraine and West Russia battles went.

@@bobbyd.roberson5588 So the tanks in Russia are to try and prevent a Karelia stack. Tanks to India Round 2 I think is early. Try not to send any Soviets to India, if possible.
