"Only cable". I remember when cable was a luxury, hospitals would only have public tv. Now KZbin is cable and cable is like public tv. Things change.

Man you can tell Axl carries a really heavy burden for all his actions and the actions of others. He keeps in mind that people used to throw stuff at him for being late, a vicious circle

2009-14 was a fun version of the band. Much more of a "Classic Guns" vibe w/DJ-Bumble- and set the wheels in motion IMHO for the highly successful reunion/re-grouping w/all the Duff/Izzy appearances...

I've always suspected his delaying the show is due to being insecure about his voice. Specially the shows where he left the stage after someone "showed him the finger" thats just a rock n' roll way out of a situtation where he knew his voice wouldnt last until the end of the show, I've been in this situation and it is a terrible feeling, made even worse because he had to sing basically every other day, no time to recover, and no technique and still too young to believe he could pull it through by sheer will (which he did for an inhumane amount of time). I'm pretty sure that happened from a very long time before we noticed his voice was fucked.

I think he lets his emotions and feelings speak through his music like most musicians. I think that's part of the reason why GNR connected so well is he put a lot of his emotions in his lyrics and in his performance. What's amazing about him is he has never stopped performing and doing what he loves. It's very inspirational. I never got to see them in their peak years bc i was too young but feel blessed I've seen them in '06 and '21 so far.
