Is there a day that you could get board with having Zack on the show?I just noticed your comment is 2 years ago but I already typed this so I'm gonna hit send anyway,also I really don't disagree with you on the space fillers for the most part but, Zack,Billy Sheehan,Kirk Hammett,Getty Lee,Neil Peart,Ace and Peter.I can listen to em over and over again. Just my opinion brudda! Those are the guy's that made me make noise on guitar and a bit of percussion. ;)

I think it's political stuff from the company that owned the show, VH1/Viacom (Viacom owns Warner Bro's or Universal Music Group also iirc which owns like a 1/3rd of records, acts sold. Music biz is only like three companies which branch out to other labels under them for 85% of the music out there) to show guests from commercial bands. It made the show a lot more stale for sure. Once VH1 Classic got taken off the air That Metal Show got axed with it also.

I checked out on Anthrax after Among The Living. Didn't they open for KISS in the 80's? I'm pretty sure they did.

Everyone is always saying they checked out for KISS in the late 70s but man you cannot deny the balls to the wall energy and killer songs of Creatures Of The Night! Best KISS IMHO the 1st 3 albums, Destroyer, Creatures Of The Night, Lick It Up, and Revenge.

Seriously? Come on War Machine is better than I Love It Loud and even the song Creatures Of The Night. If you like more anthemic songs than yeah I love It Loud is more of an anthem. Heavens On Fire is catchy too. There's a lot of good 80s KISS songs.

I was twelve when I went to my first concert which was KISS on the Destroyer Tour... I was ruined after that lol. Every kid should have gone to a KISS show even if they didn't like the music... just for the spectacle of it. I've seen bands that put on shows as good, and some even better...but KISS were the first to really put on a great stage show. There's been a bunch of bands to follow their "blueprint."

Van Halen opened for KISS-ASS and they Killed it big time.That was when I realized Kiss was a rip-off. All flash and no gas.Great visual but no real tunes after Peter and Ace.If you want to see the best Kiss band you really need to see the little guy's.They do it great.I forget what they call em but they are not much over 3 feet tall.I typed it like that because I'm old and not suppose to call em the M word,anyway go see em they are better then the fake ass Gene and Paul show hands down. ;)
