The ‘slot’ in the button jaws are handy for measuring wall thickness with your calipers.

Your Speed Sizer does not have to be round; it could be a simple series of holes in a line on a steel rule. That way the tool has multiple uses. I enjoyed this discussion. Cheers!

Colwin mentions a new eccentric chuck in development. Any idea when this might be on sale?

Sadly, I missed this session and I would have liked to post a question regarding eccentric Chuck. Will the eccentric system work with other Chuck systems, namely sc4 from Record Power? I would be grateful for clarification.

Hi Alan, the eccentric chuck has an internal dovetail for gripping and measures 70mm. Therefore it will fit your jaws if they are dovetailed and match or are close to this size 😊

I have been looking for jaws part to make a knitting pin for my friend. She has a small wooden knitting but she would like a longer one. Do you supply them? Many thanks

Hi Simon, if you're looking for a set of jaws to go down to a small size then something like the pin jaws would be ideal. Here is a link for you - www.axminstertools.com/100mm-spigot-jaws-810067

Can you interchange jaws between Record SC4 and Axminster Ron
@axminster2 жыл бұрын
No, sorry Ron. Each chuck manufacturer make jaws to fit their own chucks.
