Could you use the soap cutter to mark the loaf to aid in hand cutting the loaf?

Unfortunately, I don't think that would make a difference. Many times I've marked a loaf using a ruler, but then as I cut, the knife will go down slanted. So the cut will start off at the right spot, but it still might end up slanted either too wide or too narrow. It's just me; I can't seem to cut straight down. 🤪

@@sudsnsatin Are you able to mark three sides of the loaf? In marking three sides and guiding your knife along the markings could you get closer to straight cuts. By the way, is there a KZbin video on making even straight cuts?
