@@DNAMobileGaming definitely, I hastily bought a m.2 drive with a massive heat sink and it doesn’t fit in my Odin 2 dock, so I’m looking for a way to convert it to usb since my laptop doesn’t have an extra slot unfortunately

The largest one I've seen was 128GB but I like the ability to switch between sd cards if needed. There's so many other options too, this was just a fun little easy cheap one.

@@DNAMobileGaming I don't have one exactly I really like the d8 but the idea of future update for the controller is amazing and I'm really confused for which one to buy or maybe I'm going to win the d9 when we reach 9k 😋

SSD's are cheaper than SD cards anyhow to be honest. And cganging the SSD is super easy on the next lite. Literally just take off the back panel and unscrew and pull out the SSD. Takes 5 mins tops.

Well like I said this is for those that don't want to do this because they don't have the technical know how as not everyone wants to take their device apart 😁

Yeah it definitely takes more than 5 minutes but this is a great alternative that takes seconds and works well.

I don't even touch my Lite honestly. I did for the first few weeks test it a lot and used it for reference sizing for the DNA Duo universal clamp.

no idea why no sd, maybe the not lite got more storage? a great way to expand how to get more juice on your devices

It only has 512GB of internal storage I think half the reason it was cheaper is because of this and the processor. But having this option really does it's justice, I thought of this the other day when I was looking for a micro SD to usb dongle for my computer.

I think it's a money grab now that most devices don't have a Micro SD card slot! Last year I paid more for the 512GB Redmagic 8S Pro because I knew 256GB wouldn't be enough. But $200 more is a sham in my opinion as I can get a 512GB SD for under $40.

How one of these doesn't have microSD expansion is beyond me. They can't cost that much to add. That would be a definite, NO-BUY for me. THOUGH, if you were to go this route, I would just add a USB C hub to that 180 Degree adapter. Like one of those mini hubs for the iPads, that way you get USB C power pass-through, USB A, HDMI, Micro/Full SD support that would be tiny enough to fit on the back out of the way of your thumbs, like this: " 7-in-1 Adapter for iPad Pro ", for 33USD and Amazon Prime Delivery. Has an USB A, USB C Data, USB C PD, card reader, HDMI, and combo 3.5mm jack. Should fit perfectly behind there, out of the way of even the longest fingers, and small enough to not block any intake vents.

It didn't bother me because I plan to upgrade it mind you this little trick is really a great option if you want to play Emulation off the SD card or keep files on it.
