The only benefit of center or top right POIs like Lightning Rod, Cascade, Checkpoint, Wall is its location. If you’re going to waste time until zone closes anyways then better drop fish farms or Cenote. Because if then you wouldn’t have to contest TSM, NRG, XSET, and Furia for it. You could contest against OXG and LG instead which is much easier.

Its a bit late but here's my little take. E8 got rolled by TSM on their first try to contest them & instead of either sucking it up & try again or admit defeat & find another spot (sidenote Raven is a dickhead for fucking E8 over the way he did, but that's another topic), instead they did neither they landed next to TSM & decided to just settle for the inferior spot. If I was their coach I'd tell them they needed to grow a pair & just ape TSM (better to die fighting then do nothing). I know I just shit on Raven (which he deserves for breaking his promise), but when TSM got their ass kicked by Faze 8-2 for Lauch Pad (which is arguably a better POI then Wall) they were at least decisive & dropped that plan the next day.

I was really rooting for E8/BBB this split. I was never a big fan of C9 or G2 but I always like to root for underdog teams. seeing them fail and then having some split up is unfortunate. Great video as always and keep up the ALGS content!!!!!!

Love these videos. I think they're a great way to get Apex fans into the competitive scene. Teams have such a high turn over rate it can be hard to get new viewers familiar with the players, and not everyone likes to binge streams.

nobody talks about the lack of commitment of Zach and Chaotic during the last weeks of PL, Zach missing scrims, Chaotic not even showing up and barely playing scrims. Change was probably good, Chaotic on Cat was not good. He needs to frag, and Zach couldn't mesh the two together. E8 game speed for fights was always off, Chaotic needs to be full health which slows the speed of the trio for a fight, maybe 2 only fighting at once.

While I think Zach was the best option for an IGL, I dont know how good of an IGL he really is anymore. Meta shifts. Teams getting better. He is falling out. Just a year and a half ago he was listed as a top 3 IGL with Hal and Sweet (that DEFINITELY should have been someone else, but I digress.) Now he has some hair brained schemes instead of playing the game. It felt like he was playing to grief TSM at Wall instead of playing to win.

BBB Were never as deadly as Dezign, Resultuh and Gent, they were a completely balanced team , all they needed was to swap the IGL from Dezign to Gent. Dez cooked up that loba ash rampart comp in a charity tourney where his team was frying with it. Basically they would rotate hella fast and set up in a place where they could use ash port to get to god spot in the late game. Due to bbb struggling at the time they adopted it to try and make something work.
