Ayia Napa Cyprus April 2024 Update.

Hi George , I have just been looking at your video on Ayia Napa, and I really like the look of the place . It seems to have many different types of restaurants and a few authentic Greek Cypriot ones as well. I noticed that one of the Greek Cypriot tavernas, also gave a wide choice of vegetarian and gluten free food as well , those are of great interest to me if I decided on going there . My , husband likes all the fast food places like , Burger king , kFC ,Subway . He noticed that you pointed out a kebab shop which you said was , good food , plenty ,and quite reasonably priced as well . Excellent , that will do my husband well I think . Lol George , again excellent tour and insight of Ayia Napa. Many thanks 😊

It's on the A5. There was a menu but it was in Greek. But the most expensive thing was €5

Love these videos George. We are coming out in September and staying at the Tasia maris( seen both your videos there), so been watching you walk from there down to the shops and restaurants. Be good to see the other junction at the jungle cafe… going up towards senior frogs next!

I loved Costas' Restaurant with all the lovely paintings and colours! I must visit there.. the place with the Vegan menu also looked good as I'm Vegan.. DELISH!

Hi George we are staying at Nissi Plage Hotel at the beginning of Sept for 19 nights. We stayed there last year and loved it. Love your videos, could you possibly do a video recommending authentic Cypriot restaurants. In or around Ayia Napa. By that I mean if they exist real traditional Greek Cypriot cooking. Keep up the good work

Hi George and Su thank you for showing this Vlog I got excited at this well were you started from we haven’t walked up towards the square for many years but I can remember going into the Fiji restaurant many years ago when we used to stay in hotels and we have been in the Costas the Greek restaurant twice for the first time ever a couple of years ago and It looks fantastic now and I have had my feet tickled every year at the fish spa place and Su will love it and the Kimon ice cream place used to be a bar restaurant type place and that was Costas and his wife putting the chairs out and we have stayed in the Faros hotel and spent many a happy time at the Queen Vic when we used to stay in hotels and went into the Vassos fish restaurant for the first ever last year and hoping to do the others when we come back to Cyprus and hope everyone has a fantastic season and I want to say sorry that we can’t do the super thanks thing

Been eating breakfast on and off at the Queen Vic since 2000, used to be Costas the owner and his mate with very long hair called Andreas, back then, the Limanaki beach hotel pool area used to be run by another Andreas who lives in Paralimni not far from the fire station and his number one barman Loucas, they are now at Agrotikon way down Nissi Ave near the Makronisoss turn off, opposite that new Amethyst hotel. Coming over again on 5th May George.

@@lauraburge2529 Nowadays it caters for groups of people on holiday together but years ago, you used to share a taxi, he would pic various people up on your trip as they waved them down, it used to be a bit like a bus, the taxis, I'm sure George will remember that.

Its a shame that the the air quality soon will totaly destroyd by all these bugs/mopedcars and mopeds. Cyprus should go for all electric or ordinary manual bikes in the cities. What a nice thing that would be. Cypern is so beautiful with beautiful water. They/we shall take good care of it. Thailand have som examples where the opposite have happend….thats so sad.

@@CYPRUSINSIGHT But I disagree. During high season the air in Ayia Napa and Fig tree is bad because of exhausts from mopeds and mopedcars. Would be kind of easy to make a change, if the wish is there. Cyprus could take the lead in that direction. That would be a very nice thing of them to do. Cyprus is wonderful, apart from tht issue…
