When watching the preselection (along with the usual drinking game) the presenter mentioned that Iceland is the country with the lowest unemployment rate for young people. So our theory was that the Icelandic labour agency picked the only unemployed Icelandic teens in the whole country and forced them to take part in ESC, because all the jobs in the fish factory were taken. After seeing their reaction to being in the final, I think we were right.
