I miss those pineapples. Was my daily routine to get the pineapple from roadside stand when walking back to my airbnb...lol.

All of the fruit! And so reasonably priced. Here in El Nido no one is selling cut fruit and I’m still trying to figure out why!

@@ayngelina Love fruit, even my time in Costa Rica and Ecuador. Always had pineapple in the fridge...lol. Looks like a laid back first day. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming dining bus tour.

I finally found a pineapple! But talked to some locals and they said transported fruit here is really expensive which is why we’re not seeing cut fruit as much and also why banana and mango is local so it’s why we’re mostly seeing that.

I was born in BKK. Used to live in Chinatown very close to Little India separated by a canal. When I saw three underground MRT stations in the old town district, I thought I was in the wrong country. Those stations look so nice and well organized just like the ones in first world countries. I'm so glad you are having a great time in BKK. So many things and places to explore. Pretty sure you would love to stay there forever. Now I live in California. I'll go back to visit family and friends next year. Hope to see you there, my friend. ขอให้โชคดีมีความสุข = Wishing you best of luck and happiness.👏👏❤️❤️👍👍🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭

when it comes to the vegetarian festival, not only that people in white outfit are strictly on vegan diet to cleanse the body but also follow five Buddhism precepts to cleanse the soul. One of five percepts is 'no lying', so I assume the advices about the only one day temple thing from those two uncles in white cloths are genuine. Surely pilgrimage vegetarians, I can sense. 😇

Well they were from there and away from the festival. I would like to believe they were telling the truth but after what others have told me I don’t think it’s likely.

unbelievable to think thailand is not going to be hot..if you coming dueing this time of the year..the weather can be so unpredictable at times..therefore never think is going to be perfect as you want..it not..
@ayngelina8 ай бұрын
Oh I know, we were so foolish to think the weather in Bangkok would be dramatically different from Sumatra. But we’re used to it now as it seems every country we’ve been in for the last 12 months was peak heat - the worst was Ninh Binh in Vietnam. Because of the flat land and limestone cliffs it felt like we were on a hot frying pan. But I love traveling low season so we can’t complain.
