Wow your elder son literally has a really good sense on how to eat Thai food like how to mix or pair things up , great job!! Also the Patonggo(fried bread) ,a lot of us eat it with hot coffee,Milo or ovaltine. And for the Khao kha moo, raw garlic help clear out all the grassiness from the fat as well.

Recommed every dish you order you must order 1 rice for eat another dish because many dish it taste stronger (salty sweet or sour) but if you eat with rice tast gonna be better :)

Ice at Bangkok restaurants is always commercially prepared. All day pickup trucks and box trucks deliver fresh ice as needed to local stalls and restaurants. And in fact, aside from too much Chlorine, the water is actually safe to drink. 9 year expat here
