what a alone country. I can see why 80% of the people live on 10% of the land. There is something that disturbs me, with this video, and in fact, with many of the japan train videos. There are hardly anyone at the stations waiting for a train! i would *like* to think that these empty stations are only empty due to a quiet day of the week. but no, I understand from these videos just how now Japan is a nation of old people! Like 60% of the population is 65 or older. most of the young people go off to Tokyo or other large cities. I was stationed in Japan in the 60s and I often rode a mountain park train to a mountain city of 10,000 people. I recently looked up that city and then i "rode" that line again. In google i found a reference to this city with its problem. the Problem is is that ONE HALF of the houses are empty!! The city is letting people live in "your choice" of houses for free if you stay for five years! I fear for the future of these small lines. Many I read aer on the edge of stopping. If they go, they will never be replaced. was similar to where I grew up in Upstate New york. every town had a railroad. not any more. even the grayhound buses do not stop in these small towns anymore. soon these train videos might become archive videos of what was once there and is not anymore. thank you......freestone
