Correction: Actually, Ayra Starr is Nigerian. Both parents are Nigerians. She was born in Benin and that makes her a Beninese-born Nigerian. For Example: If you were deployed to Iraq and you and your American wife had children in Iraq, are they now Iraqi? No. They are still Americans. Iraqi-born Americans. By the way, she and her parents have long moved back to Nigeria. Yes, Africa is a continent, but every African country have their own different types of music genres. Afrobeat/Afrobeats is just one of Nigerian music genre and does not represent all African music. 99% of all Afrobeats that you hear today are coming out of Nigeria. Again, different countries in Africa has their own music genres. Afrobeats doesn't mean all African music. Afrobeats is just one genre under African music.

She is Nigerian... She is born of Nigerian parents living in Benin at the time she was born.... so, she is Nigerian... How could he give such false information here and say she's not Nigerian? She travels around the world with a Nigerian passport...and lives in Nigeria....
