I use coconut oil frequently for my hair, and since it is in a semi-solid state unless the weather or inside temperature is quite warm, I always melt it by putting it in a glass measuring cup that is immersed in a pan of boiling water. Once the coconut oil melts, it is much easier to combine it with other ingredients. Just an FYI!

Hey Steph! I have a dry scalp as well- just wondering if you have any tips on dealing with oily hair after you apply oil to your scalp. For me- I feel like it's counter productive to oil my scalp and than wash it out because it's just stripping the oils off of my scalp again. I love oiling my scalp but I don't like the how my hair feels so heavy and dirty after... I rarely wear my hair down anymore. I'm torn between wearing my hair up because I have embarrassing dry flakes or because my hair looks dirty even though it's clean!
@StephArizona8 жыл бұрын
Hi! I oil 2 times a week. Both scalp and hair. I use my homemade shampoo plus a shampoo bar to wash the oils out of my hair. This way I don't strip my scalp and hair badly but I am clean of the oils. I'll be uploading my updated hair wash routine soon, maybe this can help :)

@StephArizona9 жыл бұрын
If the khadi making your hair fall out, I'd recommend to stop using it right away. My homemade shampoo is all natural and for me it has lessened my hair fall. I'd recommend checking out my youtube playlist "DIY Hair Care" it has recipes that may help you. Last Sunday's video is something that is great for hair fall. Hey Steph xx I've been a subscriber for a week now and you're my hair guru!! I absolutely adore your hair unfortunately, I had to cut mine short due to hair loss. I'm trying to grow it out, but every time I apply hair oil (Castor oil and coconut oil), my hair starts to fall more when I wash it off. I've never had below chest level hair. I'm watching my diet and taking care of my hair more than ever but I don't want to be forced to get haircuts after every few months :/ how to I reduce my hair loss and promote healthy hair growth?
@StephArizona8 жыл бұрын
hi CookiesandPeppermint! thank you for subscribing, welcome to my channel ❤ maybe try getting a blood test or seeing a doctor if you've tried other methods. do you think you might be anemic? do you have dandruff, high stress or if you recently had a child it can cause postnatal hair loss. There could be many causes. I'd recommend seeing a doctor or getting a blood test if your hair fall is excessive and it's worrying you. I truly hope that I could help, thank you again for subscribing ❤❤❤❤

Okay if you ever want to have a healthy hair for life then do exactly what I say! 1> eat lots of GREEN VEGETABLES and fruits regularly. 2> Drink 8 glasses or more of room temperatured water each day. 3> Do YOGASANAS like SHARBHANGASANA along with MATSASANA, BAJRASANA and 8 PRANAYAMAS every morning on EMPTY stomach. Kindly ADD BHRINGARAJ and BRAHMI to that mixer you made if possible. Do not comb your hair just after the bath and I also want to suggest one particular hair oil which should be used RELIGIOUSLY for the overall betterment of your hair if you can't find BHRINGARAJ and BRAHMI in your country. The oil is called "SESA HAIR OIL"! I don't know from exactly where you are from but INDIAN STORES are almost everywhere on this planet so ask them to give you this particular oil. Stay blessed :)
