I think it's just because It's same engine from dominar400 and it was tuned as a sports tourer, so it's not definitely punchy as Duke. Gears are taller as well. If they had re tuned this old engine for a sports bike maybe there could be better results for comparison. But standalone ns400z is a killer machine for this price.

Its not about NS400 being slow, its just that new duke is too fast. That 6BHP difference is evident. NS400 will give good compensation to Gen2 Duke 390

@@bwhwithivlogs99 high speeds require higher stability too not to mention good breaking and this engine got power yesssir but you see how its not very good at breaking is it? its a great power commuter but if you buying this for competitive advantage pls dont race with this its not an rc390 or zx4r but people buying these will definitely be comparing these to ktm ninjas or gts forgettin the fact its not supposed to be a super sport and these audience DEFINITELY will be upgrading from scooters and splendor j high chances of reckless riding 📈 compared it w gt650 because gt is not meant to compete but people still do and get into crashes which is just sad :(

I have 1 question on which riding mode was the pulsar because I have seen from other review videos that road mode has lower acceleration than sports mode. May there was so much difference between 390 and 400z because sports mode was not activated in ns 400z, @Ayush please can you confirm which riding mode was ns400z on.

When ktm had only the 373 duke which had like 44hp but they detuned the engine to make only 39.8 hp on the dominar. Cause without the detune it would be an unfare advantage for bajaj. But now since ktm has the 399 cc. Why didn't they use the concordant 373cc engine. Don't get me wrong the ns 400 is a really good bike. But, if i had to describe the ns400z in one statement it would be, 'LAZY ENGINEERING '. . They didn't put much effort into the engine design frame or even the instrument console. Look at the frame, they just said , if the ns 200 frame cant handle the 400 engine. Lets just make the frame thicker. Major cost cutting has been done on the R&D department. Thats why they could launch this at 185000rs.

Bajaj is probably not giving their best in manufacturing these new generation bikes. A few days ago someone known by me while riding a brand new N250 the gear lever came out suddenly on the go. And there are few other complaints about rust inside the tanks of brand new N160 in Bangladesh.
